We stayed two nights in November 2018 and found it amazing and the most perfect place to explore tea country. Incredibly good value for money especially if like us you find that you have the place to yourselves. Set on a hill side amongst a tea plantation with outstanding views across the valley it's a wildlife haven with many birds and monkeys passing through the garden. The bedroom and bathroom were well equipped comfortable and very well kept. I cannot praise the food highly enough the prawns and mash potatoes we had on our first night was truly amazing but then the Sri Lankan banquet we had on our second night was the best of the best we have had on two visits to Sri Lanka. I think I counted 13 dishes plus rice all perfectly cooked and then served on the terrace outside our room. You must visit.

A small and stylish hotel. Ceylon Tea Bungalows offers a handful of rooms all with superb views. An ideal place to visit some of the amazing places in Sri Lanka's 'tea counrty'. Weather permitting a trip to Liptons Seat is a must as well as taking in how tea is produced and if you fancy you can experience tea picking first hand. Excellent staff and nothing was too much. Thank you guys for a great stay.

The rutted road up from the main road does not prepare you for such a serene location. Only 5 rooms, with gorgeous views from the garden and your verandah. Food made to order, very well managed by Mr. Priyantha, with Eranga handling house-keeping and waiting on tables, and gardener Lanks who took us on an informative tour of the surrounding tea estate

Power was out and the hotel has no generator. Half the food and wine on the menus and wine list were not available (and this had nothing to do with the power failure). Internet barely functioned unless you were very close to the modem. No pool and nothing at all to do. Infestation of tiny bugs which gives around people's face and ears. Never a single apology for the various problems. No air conditioning in the rooms and no window screens so you baked all night long. What did they did have was mediocre at best. By far the most unsatisfactory experience we had in close to a month in India and Sri Lanka. Do not go there.

Tranquil escape, an oasis in the mountains. The room was comfortable, clean and presented well. The meals particularly the local offering was excellent. The staff were attentive and friendly.

Wow such a beautiful villa. Had a photoshoot once there. If anybody wants, you can see it on my Facebook. Such an awesome place. Good outdoors and indoors.
