Cozy Homestay Waterfall Rd

The best place we stayed during our whole trip in Sri Lanka (even better than Marino Beach Colombo)! The communication, service, food, room and views were outstanding, especially for such a reasonable price. The host gave us a lift to Ella train station, free of charge. We were impressed that the bed even had a comfortable duvet/comforter. They have addressed any issue with smells in the bathroom as they smelt great when we were there.

Fantastic home stay located 10-15 minute walk down the train tracks to Ella centre. I honestly couldn’t fault a single thing, everything was perfect. The room was spacious, very clean and the bed is super comfy. Hot water and very clean bathroom, decent Wi-Fi and you even get a fridge and a kettle. The free breakfast is delicious and the portion sizes are huge. The dinner is also super tasty and good value! Each night we couldn’t even finish the amount of food they provided so you will not go hungry. The service is impeccable and there are so many beautiful little touches to decorate the place. If you choose to stay here you will have a wonderful time guaranteed. We absolutely loved it and would return in a heartbeat.

This is the best place for staying in Ellla. You'll have warm room, hot water, hairdryer, fan (it's important because only this helps you make dry your clothes), very good wi-fi, and amazing breakfast. Setu and his family are the best hosts ever.

Ps. I highly recommend trying rice and curry here. It was bester than everywhere.
I'm gonna miss their dog, he's wonderful

A cozy place to call home for a few days

+ One of the best home stays we've stayed at. Breakfast is amazing, the family are so friendly and helpful, only a 10 min walk into town on the train tracks. Great WiFi, comfy beds and hot water. Would 100% recommend!

This must be the best homestay we stayed at in Sri Lanka. The family is wonderful and the food is delicious! The little house is beautiful, clean and in a great spot. Would definitely book again!

Lovely homestay, enjoyed sitting out on the balcony watching monkeys. Food is a bit pricey but definitely worth it, absolutely delicious
