Really good food, prices, ambience, games and most of all great service. Our personal favourite was Chandika, a really nice and atencious waiter who made our dinner even better. Thank you Chandika!

There are also sofa seats in the spacious store.
It's reasonably priced and delicious.
Most of them are basic Westerners.
The store staff are friendly and likable.

I arrived early in the evening. We were spoken to badly as if it bothered them to serve us. Then the beers arrived open? We ordered a shisha which took a long time to arrive. 30 minutes, the worst I saw the staff smoking in the shisha one by one…. It is unacceptable: @@

We took a meat plateau for Rs 6500, a large portion for 2-3 adults is enough. Grilled
The plateau had:
Chicken, pork, sausages, bacon beef (hard) potatoes, a couple of lettuce leaves

There is a bar on the lower floor, you buy a drink and you can play chess, billiards (pool, snooker)

A nice place to grab food and maybe play a bit of pool, snooker or chess. It’s not too expensive and they have great friendly staff like lalith. Would definitely come back here.

One of well known restaurants in Ella town.
Mainly target on tourists during season. The menu is only for tourists. After April they do have a separate menu to cater locals as well, which is during off season. Met a genuine steward named Lalith Priyantha. We went there for breakfast and he gave us a great service as he knows what locals required. You may Look for him and guaranteed you will be well served. Management should do the best to empower those kind of people.

Very tasty, suggest to take pizzas and all the drinks are very fancy and delicious. The prices are very low. Waiters are very gentle, especially our friend (P. Rameshraj). Nice and warm place.

A nice restaurant to have a quick lunch at while exploring ella. The food was good and the so was the service. Next to it there are many souvenir shops and other types of shops. It is in the main street. The concept is okay it is open space and you can people watch or enjoy the music

A nice place in the center. We haven't tried the food, but we had a lot of Fun during two nights in a row at the pool table. Very friendly staff. They even explained a local game as well. You don't get bored there!

The breakfast for $3.50 is a really good deal. It comes with a huge pot of filter coffee, fruit juice and a lot of bread!

Tried a few things. Overall portions were good and service was fast but taste was average. Pizzas and the beef burger are a safe bet

Very bad experience, we came to play pool, they wanted us to buy drinks and they say that in a minute we will have a table, we waited for our turn very long time and they didn’t let us play even when our turn arrives, we left without playing: (

I tried to go to Matey hut, but they where closed for the day for a private event, and then chill cafe but they hadn't opened yet so we ended up here. I had the sri lankan breakfast and a bottle of water. Service was good, Buddhika made a quality experience. The food was alright and it came quickly. The open air seating right on the main street creates a great experience. They have a small parking lot just past the restaurant.

The food was delicious here. Umesh was a very nice young man I got the chicken wrap bbq and it came with homemade bbq sauce. Then also had a pinnini that was very good also. I would eat there again no problem.

We loved this place for the food whenever we were driving through. It's nicely done out and good views of street. You can eat curry or Western, but any food and drink is really nice there! The waiter was also very humble and honest and grateful for our custom.

We chose this restaurant for our Christmas dinner, when we were in Ella, and we definitely didn't regret it. The food was delicious and the waiter took care about us well. I recommend this restaurant for sure:)

Appears like a chill out place with desserts and good coffee, which it offers for sure. However the atmosphere is very stressful, waiter tries to be funny and knowing many languages but it fails a bit. Maybe they are trying to be cool like the neighbor Chill, which we came here to avoid. Be authentic, allow tourists to relax - and it will be awesome! Tuna melt sandwich has no mayo and the fish is served as a fillet not mashed with onion etc. The other food we tried was good!
