Horton Mountain Hotel

We were warmly welcomed by the family that runs Horton Mountain. Tea and coffee served on our arrival. We were also able to enjoy a nice rice & curry dinner in the evening (be careful it's always a little spicy). The location is quiet and on the road to Horton Plains. Glad to have hot water for our shower. We also asked for a breakfast to take on the road for the next day.

However, we thought we had the wrong address when we arrived at the location indicated by the GPS because we passed through the garden which was more or less not maintained by the family.
We were very cold. There was no heating and even if we wanted to warm up in the sun at the end of the day, the mosquitoes would make us change our minds. We slept wrapped up in blankets.
Comfort is basic. Quite hard beds, impossible to turn off the bathroom light and unfortunately no soap.
