Little hotel in the mountain of Ella with magnificent view to nature and water fall.
Balcony for tea or breakfast with nice service was great.

Marvellous Inn was truly MARVELLOUS! The room was big and clean and the balcony had the most amazing view! The family were so kind and the breakfast was fantastic! Thanks so much!

It doesn't get any better. A sparkling clean, beautiful guesthouse with a wonderful view.
The lovely owners fulfill all wishes. The fantastic rice and curry in the evening on the terrace and the breakfast in the morning, which left nothing to be desired, were unbeatable.
Super comfortable beds, thick blankets and hot shower.
Unfortunately we were only there for 1 night.

The location is little bit on the hill where only Tuk Tuk can go. The Host operates his own Tuk Tuk and was kind enough to pick us up and drop us at Ella market in 2 seperate occasions.

Break fast and service is amazing as well! This is a hidden gem for sure.

Family hotel in the hills above Ella, very kind and helpful owners, one of the best breakfasts on the island. Rooms as expected austere, water flowed only a small stream, but everything sufficient, old type of sockets. A beautiful view. Accessibility on foot or by tum-tuk about 1.5 km from the center.

Very clean & beautiful nature friendly property in Ella. Top floor rooms are facing to the kithalella waterfall. This kind owner and his wife giving marvelous service to the customers every times. Prices are very reasonable. We had wonderful breakfast with hoppers/Roti and will visit again.

We booked this place last minute and were very happy with the accommodation. The view from the balcony is amazing.kind staff and owner.

Great place to stay in Ella. The owners are wonderful and ready to do anything for you. Delicious breakfast with pancakes, egg hoppers and fruit. Also some good coffee and juices. The WiFi was super fast. Great views from the balcony and and easy 15 minute walk to town. A small shop for basic things is just two minutes away. Also a good starting point for trekking along the railway (only a few hundred meter up the hill. We left really early in the morning and got a free ride to the train station as well as a great packed lunch.

The home stay is really one which deserves the name. From the very first minute, we felt home. The host family made us feeling so well that we extended our stay two times. The beds are super comfortable! The view is amazing! The breakfast & dinner are delicious! We are so lucky that we could have been guests here! Thank you very much)

Just wow. We loved the owners of the house, they were just great and very warm-hearted, doing everything to make your stay a most comfortable one. We will certainly love to come back and I can do nothing than just recommend this place, as it is also perfect to walk into the town of Ella but being to yourself a bit outside the busy town, too. Great view and, not to forget, great food! Either:)! Thanks for this great stay!

This place is quite a way off the main road. The lane to get to it is very rough and narrow. However it is definitely worth the long, slow trip to get there. The rooms are great with comfortable beds and mattresses. We had an amazing view of a waterfall that just got bigger and bigger as the rain came in on the second night we were there. Our room had a view of the train line up in the hills so we could see trains coming and going. This was not in any way noisy and did not disrupt our sleep. The owners of the place are really friendly and kind. Meals were provided for us on the large covered verandah on both nights we were there and we were even served ice cream for dessert. Breakfasts were fabulous too. This was a really great place to stay.
