Nature Paradise Guest House

Really nice accomodation, reasonable price, very helpful and friendly owner. No classic "Ella View" but lots (!) of animals to see during breakfast. Amazing good breakfast, every day different and mix of western and sri lankan. Very recommandable.

The most perfect place for visiting Ella and hiking around (Ella Rock, Little Adam's Peak and surroundings). The host is so polite and so genuinely nice that I cannot anything but urge anyone to book this very special authentic guest house.

The place was very beautiful and very friendly hosting. And mostly the breakfast was really really tasty. Highly recommended. It was only 10-15 minutes away from the ella city. You can see the beautiful waterfall from this amazing place.

We had a lovely stay here, only 3 nights but could have easily extended it. The rooms are basic but with comfortable beds, clean and very nice - direct access to your balcony from the room and see lots of squirrels, birds and we even saw hornbills!

The owner was very kind and attentive and after trying the delicious dinner we signed up for a cooking class! He was very patient and explained everything thoroughly - 100% recommend doing cooking classes here! They’re around 1000 including the dinner you wat at the end, we were so happy with it that we tipped a bit extra.

Breakfasts here were among the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka! You get something different every day (coconut rotti, hoppers, string hoppers, etc) plus fried eggs, fruit, bread, pancakes!

All in all, would definitely recommend a stay here and trying out the delicious homemade food and having the fun cooking classes!

(There is hot water but it’s solar powered so needs a few seconds to kick in. We had a big bag full of laundry washed for 1000).

Getting up in the morning to see giant squirrels & monkeys outside your balcony.what a good start!

It is a beautiful place and the owner Sampath is very attentive accommodating and charming. There is room for improvement but our stay was comfortable.

Such a great experience + relaxing experience in Ella! The room was lovely and away from the city and had a nice balcony to relax on. Hot water and comfortable bed. The breakfast was really nice and I highly suggest ordering dinner too as it was one of the best curry’s I’ve had in Sri Lanka! The family will help you know where to start walking the trails and anything else you need. Definitely one of my favorite local stays in Sri Lanka!
