Polo Region Rest Inn

The hotel is not famous, the beds musty, dirty. The service could have been better. The bathroom will do. As for the location, the nice view is only disturbed by the train. So I rather recommend this hotel to people with a smaller budget and less demands.

Milk tea is over priced (Rs. 200). Added a service charge at the last moment. This is the first time i had to pay service charges for a room. Not worth for the money.

I went on a three day polo regoin holiday with my family. I am happy to say that the best place I chose for my vacation is polo regoin rest. Food, comfortable room, location is very good. And everyone is friendly. Haputale is close to the city so it was easy to visit any place. Also, they prepared delicious Sri Lankan food and treated us. In particular, my babies' food was prepared for us as we requested. Thank you very much polo regoin rest.

The very warm welcome, the very clean, large and comfortable room, the wifi which works well, the balcony with the incredible view, made our stay impeccable. Breakfast also very good.

It was a memorable stay at Polo rest Inn, very close to Haputale town, family rooms were budgeable prices, speciates, the hot water was ok, and generally, it was clean and tidy, family was very kind and willing to help,

Simply superb place for true lovers. Nice view points around the premises. Newly constructed rooms with attached bathrooms, fully equipped hot water showers. Double rooms, family rooms for budgetable prices. Very helpful and kind staff service throughout the stay. Recommended place for spend the holidays and many more activities close to Adisham Bungalow.this place is very close to Haputhale town, therefore can easily access to Haputhale Railway Station. This place consists with nice viewing point of rail-way as helicopter view. It is better before you check in, call and asking about you favorites.

We stayed in the place for one night. The place offers the most basic level of comfort- the furniture is very old, the shower has a low pressure hot water, there are stains and holes on the bed linen and mouldy ceiling. It’s was quite cold in the room and the absence of the good pressure hot water didn’t help at all. The only positives of the room were the view from the balcony (it’s actually amazing in the morning) and two double beds (there were good hard mattresses). I wish we could have avoided this place, but it was quite late when we checked in and we didn’t want to find another place. It highly advised to the owners to make a renovation of the rooms to bring it to a normal standard.

Great place to stay, very confortable, quiet. Owners are willing to help, breakfast was delicious. Views are stunning, easy to start nice walking tours, away from town hustle. Definitelly recommended

Last visit Dec 2021. Excellent Location along the Haputale-Temple Road (Road to Adisham). Ez access parking available for three vehicles inside the premises. Take a left turn from the Haputale junction if you are coming from Beragala. Close to many attractions even walking distance to few. We got Western view it was amazing.

Its a family place for sure, Mr. Maalinda and his family are very accommodative and helpful. Food is excellent we had traditional breakfast. I was with my 2 year old and their family was like ours. Thank you for being so supportive.

The place is purpose built and the price is reasonable, the family room is good if you have kids. Wooden interior has a good feel when you feel the cold bcz you are practically in the clouds. Bathrooms have instant water heaters but no Geyser so you have to manage and improvise if you don't want to touch the cold water. Beds are very comfortable and clean.

IF you are looking for a Safe place, this is one of those places.

It's kind of a home stay with a superb view. Price is reasonable. (Rs. 2000 per head in octover, 2021.)
Soap, water etc were not available for free.

Location is very nice. A very kind family is running this place.they are very helpful. Room is very clean.room balcony has a very nice view. Very tasty food. Specially cheese and chicken pasta was best for us. Highly recommended.

Services of the Hotel is very good and it is a family operating hotel. They provide maximum services including good and clean rooms and delicious foods as well. Rates are also reasonable and I can recommend for your holidays in Haputale area. You can watch nice sceneries (Fox Hill) in your room.
