The True Food Restaurant Ella

Good food and nice service, but you could invest a little money in the decor, and most importantly in the bathroom and kitchen facilities, so that this part doesn't scare you

Food is delicous and portions are normal size but prices are very low. Only problem I have is a long waiting time even though the restaurant was not that full (40min for a couple)

Delicious food that feels better quality than many of the other eateries on the main street. We keep coming back for the biriyani! Dhal, chapati and kottu were all tasty and fresh as well. I'm sure all food on the menu is of this same standard. Great value for what you get.

The food here is absolutely basic in taste and some dishes are even tasteless. The food would definitely taste better in all the places around here. If you're already here, don't get any freshly squeezed juices. It's just water and sugar.

Best restaurant in Ella! Such a kind family runs it. I would definitely come back here whenever in Ella!

The food was really good and it was very cheap! Had some chicken Tikka masala and butter chicken and both was delicious. The owner even offered us to have one portion of rice and one of chapati bread. He was really nice and told us that they just opened and until now it's just the two of them why sometimes if there are too many people at the same time it can take a few more minutes but he'll have a second chef soon:)

Tonight we visited this place for our dinner, friendly hospitality and the food was delicious as well as the taste has the touch of south indian. They just made the dish we asked for ourselves which was not in the menu, thanks for making and satisfying our needs. Ambience is something different which you can see in the pictures i have shared, way too simple. This is must spot to visit for good food and the price are reasonable.

Delicious Indian and sri lankan food. Very cheap which is a great for Ella. But still fantastic quality. Chapatti were remarkable!

The restaurant has incredibly delicious food, we had a tikka masala and paneer masala, both were super good! The staff is very very nice and the prices are also very good. We would definitely come again and can only recommend the restaurant?

Food is great, I trully recommend the spicy chicken with caju nuts (the best chicken I’ve ever had). Indian curries are also really good
