White Home.

Nice place to stay. Can feel as a homely atmosphere. It is situated in the Main Road and very near to Adisham Bungalow.
Owners are very kind people. They are a family. If we like, we can have food there. They will prepare hot tasty food. They are very attentive people.
There is a parking space also. If we don't have any vehicle, they will take us by their van.

Stayed as a driver with a crew. They offered me a room and other facilities. Owner's son also very helpfull and also the owner and his wife.very beautiful seen from ther upper balcony.

The rooms with balcony are really nice and the view is outstanding. However, we stayed in the annex with a terrace and mountain/garden view. The room was spacious and clean and had hot water and a comfy bed. The host/manager and his team were nice and friendly. They prepared a very delicious curry buffet in the evening and Sri Lankan breakfast in the morning. We highly recommend this hotel. We would also like to recommend a trip to Lipton’s Seat, and from there walk down through the fields to the Tea Factory to catch the bus back to Haputale.

Next level hospitality and the owner and his family is very friendly for the customers.

Lovely place to stay in Haputale. Friendly welcoming family, tasty breakfast, clean and light room with superb balcony and outlook. Super hot showers. Excellent value for money too!

I recently stayed at the White Home for a weekend getaway with my family, it is located in bear of Haputhale the hotel was easy to get to and conveniently located within walking distance of many restaurants
Overall, our stay at the White Home was wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable, and the location was convenient. I would definitely recommend the White Home to others and would love to stay there again in the future.

There view was beautiful.rooms are okey, and bathrooms are not that much good.i have to say soo much about this ppls.we stay there for 2 nights and 3 days for our whole family for 28 ppls.such a money squeezing owners.there very cunning.for 2 days 3 night they charge 40 thousand for rooms rent.for foods they charge 61k for 3 days.such a money grabbing and squeezing ppls.very disappoint aftr we left.meals are just normal foods.

Great place to stay @ haputale. Very cheep price and they have added more value to their place compairing price. Family was very friendly & food made by themselves was very delisious.

I could write a lot about this place, namely that it's overpriced for a very small, moldy room, or that the bathroom was so cramped I even chose not to use the shower the one night I stayed here. The view outside is great thoug! The thing I definitely care about though was the money-grubbing mentality of the owners. When I arrived, they immediately offered massages from their own employees, next to offering reserving a dinner. At some places you feel it's genuine care, here it felt 100% about squeezing money out of you. This was further evident by the taxibus they used for a sunrise trip to Lipton's Seat. In a bus that seats 7 passengers + 1 driver, they fit 9 people + 1 driver. The costs, however, stayed the same at 750 rupee one way. They made almost 7000 rupee for a cramped ride which other guesthouses or hotels offer for half the money and half the people! Maybe I should've been happy they let me join the ride instead of saying it was full, but completely negating to tell anyone about it or offering a lower price just shows their mentality. Breakfast wasn't included even though this place is more expensive than other Airbnb's. I would recommend staying somewhere else.

Good place. The common area is excellent, and the family host is very pleasing to be around. Good service, too. Great views from the balcony. Rooms however, are pretty basic. The bathroom is small and is just made out of concrete and never dries out after you shower. The towel smelled bad and I question some of the room's cleanliness.

We walked past this property and stopped outside to take in the incredible view. The owner called to us and invited us in to get a better view from the top of this guesthouse. We were greeted by a friendly family, offered tea, and given advice on the local area. We were shown the rooms and facilities but as we had already booked another property, we did not stay here. If we had known about this before then we would definitely had stayed!

Superb homestay unith with great hospitality. The owner and his family members were so kind and helpful to make our stay comfortable. Very reasonable price wich is worth for your money. Beautiful surrounding area and even you can see the railway from your balcony.

The best food in Sri Lanka, very welcoming and hospitable family. Aslam is a great guide, they organised all our trips and transport for a fair price. Dinner time is great for socialising or play a game of Karem. Overall, we had a great stay with Aslams family.

Reasonable price for room. Friendly and helpful family. The son of the head of family is knowledgeable and can help you to organise your trip in this area.

Very nice stay, amazing dinner and breakfast, nice, clean and quite rooms, you can chill on a terrace.
