This is a public notice not be scammed from this place. This is just a place of lies. Advice not to buy anything from Abans. I wont recommend this place even to an enemy. Pathetic service.its almost 2 months and still its just lie upon lie. But you wont get your items repired. I totally regret the decision in buying things from Abans.

I have purchased many items from here (LG Refrigerator, LG 12Kg Washing Machine, Haier 2 A/C units, Toshiba Smart TV, Havells Air Fryer) I'm extremely satisfied with their service. Specifically the sales agent Dinuk who had been very helpful & personally call/message me with offers & deals. Unless there's a better offer, I wound't go anywhere else for electronics.

Their customer service is average. But wished that they gave on their opinions and recommendations according to our needs because I had to ask from them each an everything. Wished the employees are super supportive because even I planned to buy a few things and the prices were fair, I didnt purchase because I didnt feel better after I met an employee who was rude. So far the prices are average but few items in the website are not available and when you place order on the website it gets rejected after a few moments by saying out of stock. Wished that they update sooner if an item is not there. However highly recommended.

The worst place to get a laptop. Apart from receiving a faulty device, the staff were unhelpful and didn't seem to have enough knowledge to even guide or answer technical queries. It also takes a very long time (if at all) to get the complimentary products (eg: laptop bag) and you would have to go over multiple times and check in as the customer service is of the lowest quality.

I enjoy shopping at Abans Mount Lavinia. The staff is very help and pleasant, but shopping at the main kolpitty branch is the worst

Very urgent! Be very careful when giving cash. Count twice before giving them anything and don’t give the whole amount at once. Break it to sections and count and reconfirm before giving them anything. I’m not going to dive into details but apparently 5000 rupee notes seem to disappear when they take the money and count for themselves. Don’t fully trust them just because they are the authorised apple reseller. Everyone’s trying to make a quick buck these days. Even by stealing. Try to always pay by credit card and be careful when dealing with expensive electronics. I say again, count the money and double check before handing it over.

Abans Elite are the large format stores which belong to the Abans Group. It's worth the visit if you need any form of home appliances since they deal with only reputed brands. They say service has slipped but then they are still the best of the worse. I for one would prefer Abans to the competition any day.

Went there for buying a Philips air fryer. Two models were there but the one I selected wasn't in stock though they claimed they have stocks initially. The other model is an illegally imported equipment which they have cut the power cable. I asked about it from a sales person and he admitted that those are illegally imported and the management has advised them to remove the tag and sell. Sales assistant answers question without actually knowing the facts about the device. Other than that, the showroom seems to have many other goods. Also it has ample parking space.

I found what I wanted, otherwise same as any other. Consider about their after sale service, nobody bother to take interest or responsibility.

Staff is not entorely helpful when it comes to checking the specifications. Either they dont know or they dont want to share. End up buying a laptop from Bamba when these idiots could very well have sold it to me if only they showed bit more confidence in their product.

This is a great outlet with very friendly and supportive staff who are ready to go out of the way and help you get what you need. Kudos to the team at Abans Mount Lavinia showroom.
