Guys never ever buy their policies! I regret that I couldn't read the reviews before dealing with them! CRAP insurance company. I had a life policy-policy No-U 1111/001129. I paid all the monthly premiums via standing orders on time. But their systems failed to capture the payments and put my policy to lapse without even informing me. Terrible systems. I made a written complaint asking for a full refund-but no use. Complaint No-ATL/17/2023. I'm going to complaint to consumers affairs authority, such a waste of my time and additional burden. This is the price we have to pay for dealing with CRAP. If any one wants anymore details on this matter email me-mmurshidpc@gmail.com I will forward the facts.

It is important to mention that the insurance company has not fulfilled their obligations in a timely manner, causing inconvenience and frustration to the customer. The insurance team's lack of care and failure to provide proper information has further added to the customer's dissatisfaction. In addition, even after receiving the invoice, the insurance company has not provided the customer with their cheque for more than a week, causing further delay and inconvenience.

Went to get a claim. I sat for an hour. But he doesn't even look this way.still here See other people's reviews on this. This is a lot of goo.customer service is the end.

They are saying always we will contact you within 2 or 3 working days but never giving any calls for any updates if we call them have to wait 10 to 15 min to connect claim department some times they also not answering lot of liars are working there we are wasting our money and time because they don't have proper system or people who working there they don't know how to manage that system

Worst experience ever,
Never use this company for insurance,
Just used lesser for one month and I want to sell my vehicle and get the refund I paid 124,000 and my refund was this 41,000 rupees for 20 days
This is so unfair

Horrible experience, person who was with them for more than 10 years treated like dirt. Not even a responsible person to listen for the grievance. Only looking at the money from their angle

The Worst insurance company in Sri Lanka. Verse service providing for their customers. Please don't select this company for your insurance. Even they don't have enough people to come and check the accidents. Just rejecting the insurance claim without informing. Irresponsible and improper management.

Pay online for renewal.
They send card without change the date.
Same date as previous card.
Very very disappointed.
Waste my time.luckily not checked by traffic police.

Highly unsatisfactory service and not granted claim for the accident in tome & claim estimate. Educate all knpwen personnel to do not chose the Amana insurance ferther more.

This insurance place is a scam that’s why Sri Lanka where we are today.people go to this scam place will never pay you please please stay away. My advice stay away from this scam Insuarance company I am bringing them to police and court as this company ripping off poor Sri Lankan people. I will do the right thing by bringing them justice.please do not get any insurance from this company. They are biggest scammers in insurance business please stay away please.

This is the first time I have registered my vehicle with Amana Insurance and I'm trying to claim my first accident.   I have sent all my required documents via WhatsApp as they requested.and finally they said one of their staff needs to inspect the vehicle and collect the estimate from you. For the last three days, I was calling their customer support and the assigned staff who will visit, whenever I call he keeps telling lies that he will come.  but, he never comes.it's been 3 days but still not came to see the vehicle.this is maybe their trick to delay the process! Very disappointed with the first claim.will never choose Amana Insurance in the next renewal!

For 3rd party life insurance it will take 15 mins. Have to pay 950rs and show presence insurance card

I was very disappointed with their customer service. My father's company placed an insurance policy for our family. Last month the doctor said that my mother had a stroke and it will be tested. When we spoke to the insurance company, the officer who contacted us said that there is no need to admit we will be claimed after doing the tests and we have to submit the original bills after paying those. After we have done all the tests and submitted the original bills, we are told that we need to be admitted. Earlier, if we had told them that we are going to do the test at such a high price, they would have told us to admit before doing tests. Are we doctors?

I worked Amana Takaful Kattankudy Branch only 1 week. They doesn't know about systems. But I'm the new. I'm also don't know about systems. They appointed a trainer to me, but he's rude with me. He's in Kalmunai. I'm in Kattankudy. I can't contact him. I can't understand what he said.when I called him 2 or 3 times he got angry with me.not only One of the staff asked me "Go to pharmacy and buy tablet". What kind of employees are them. I don't know. Shame on this. Please consider this statement.

Very Very poor service. You have to beg them to get the claims. There are lots of procedure to get the claims. It is not user friendly at all.need to contact multiple person. Also need to fill the same claim form multiple times.if you done all these and requested for the claim they willl find a silly reason to reject it. And they will reject the claim first. Then again you have to appeal again to get the claims. Then there will be another set of procedures to be completed. I'm not talking about big claim. I experienced this for the claim amount which is around half of my yearly insurance fee. Still i couldn't get the claim for two months even after approval. Then think if there are any big claims. They are not worth to give even 1 star. I have lost my trust of this company. I have decided to remove all my family vehicles from this insurance company.

Very bad service and bad manager, when i went to renew my rent a car insurance for the 6th year they have cancelled my policy, when ask they said since i have settled the leasing amount i have to put a fresh policy for the new value higher rate.so i request many times to get the same policy and didn't work.i withdraw my all vehicles from amana and join with HNB Takaful, They Gave me very good service with better rate.
