British School of Commerce

I started my MBA with this institute. My course coordinator was Zamruth.
It’s really hard to get the information from her.
Lectures are doing the job really nicely. But I am really disappointed about the services that they are providing. Now I’m waiting more than six months for their response.

Do not start MBA program with British school of commerce Sri Lanka. This is not the place.as a students we deserve more than that.

Regardless other reviews, on my personal note it is a great university with tonnes of student support services from the staff and lecturers. All you have to do is ask for help and they are available to help you.

Overall, my experience at BSC has been positive even through the pandemic. For the most part, my MBA lecturers have adapted very well to the online format. They understand the struggles that come with it and have adjusted the course loads accordingly. They are very understanding and flexible as they too are learning to adjust to virtual learning. I think that they did a great job in presenting knowledge, especially in a pandemic environment.

I am so happy about their service, they do have Affordable Payment Plans for everyone. Counsellors are so friendly and so kind

Currently I am experiencing the worst service ever and this place is not worth even a star. I started my MBA with BSC in Sep 2020 and was suppose to Finish by Aug 2022 but one of my modules failed and had to re-sit and was shifted to the next batch. After that the final project was submitted on 14th Sep 2022 and this was suppose to be a 18months program. After the final submission the administration staff said that the final results will be published by the University of Suffolk in the portal by end Nov 2022, but when they published the final results it was January 2023 so you can imagine the efficiency of the so called UK University and the coordination of the so called Local Institute BSC. And still I am writing e-mails to both places just get my final transcript which is not yet published. So if you calculate the duration it is more than two years.
So my point is why we spend so much to do an MBA it's because we have a purpose, but my purpose is lost.
And the service of the Administration staff is poor like nothing, they talk like they have invested their money for us to do our MBA. Never answer calls. I had to move to another country while doing the MBA and did everything online but I had no way of communicating with BSC as my only mode of communication was e-mails and whatsapp calls. Since they do not respond to emails I had to get my friend's help to call them, Even if they respond they keep on saying the same story like they have no control the delay is by the University. So my question is why the hell do they act as the local body, it is mainly to coordinate between the students and the University.
Their connection with the students and the loving care is put to a full stop once the total payment is completed.
So please do not choose this place for your MBA or higher studies pay something extra and go to a better reputed place.
I have wasted my money by choosing this place.
Also the reason I have selected the start is because to get permission to post this.

By far the worst college any student could enrol into.
They are so incapable of doing anything properly and have completely broken the trust I had with them.
Overall I would never NEVER RECOMMEND this place even to my worst enemy as I would be committing a sin.

Dear BSC Management/administration, please hire competent staff, re evaluate and rectify all the wrong - doings and malpractice rather than taking in new students or kindly close down the institute.

The place is not worth a star.

To my knowledge, BSC has shifted itself from several different universities. Starting from Cardiff and Anglia Ruskin. Now it has shifted from University of Bedfordshire to University of Suffolk. This is obviously not a good sign. As I know, ICBT is staying with Cardiff for years (Not promoting ICBT, It might be worse than BSC).

BSC advertises that it has over 90% pass rate, but in reality our batch had more than 60% first time failures. To our research study, they have given us the minimum support possible, just to show that they supervise. Their supervising comments were not personalized and I have found the same exact wordings for some of my friends as well. We have passed our MBA, because we worked hard, not because they taught us well. They will stop assisting you once you have completed your payments. So, if you really want to go forth with BSC, delay your payments to the full capacity.

It took more than 5 months for us to receive our MBA certificates after University of Bedfordshire issued them. Imagine the efficiency of their courier. My aliexpress parcel will reach my home in a month using the economy mail.

I cannot say if this is the worst place in the country, because I have not studied MBA in several institutions. But this place is at the lowest quality. If the other institutions are the same quality, its better to look for an MBA in a state university.

PS: They do not let you take normal graduation photos. British school of commerce asked us to hold a cardboard having their large logo and words “Congratulations blah blah” for our graduation photo as well as family photo. It will look like we are holding a large marketing billboard for the corrupt college in our living room. Attaching below the so called certificate. This is the most pathetic and the most disappointing convocation I witnessed ever.

Before you choose this place for your MBA program do a proper research. Out of 180 crditt 120 crdits are give by an institution called LSC which is not recognized worldwide. So, don't fall for their trap.

As a past student I highly recommend to newcomers. I can guarantee that you can find a great overseas lecture panel and very supportive team. Especially during the covid-19 lockdown they ensured us to deliver lectures without any delaying. And they also provided us flexible payment plans. Hence without any hesitate we able to complete the MBA timely.

This is the worst place to do your MBA… they promote as they help students and super quality education, but NOOOO it’s a big lie… they keep on changing universities… in the last 4 years they changed 3 universities.university of wales, Bedfordshire and then Suffolk…
They messed up with Bedfordshire and the price is paid by the students…

In our batch more than 60% were failed on the first attempt because they lost the affiliation with Bedfordshire and they didn’t help for the finals. They didn’t have a clue about anything.

Finally they didn’t give us the 120 credits from the university. They only gave 60 credits from University of Bedfordshire and the balance from LSC, an unrecognized institute.

And after graduation it took them more than 8 months to release the certificates whereas university of Bedfordshire sent us the certificate much faster. BSC has the slowest mail.

And the administration office doesn’t have a phone… no one helps you out when there is a need. You have to send multiple emails to get your issues at least to be seen.
The worst service ever.

If you guys are planning to do MBA, please find some other good place where your time and money are valued.

I am posting this review so that anyone will save their time and money over the MBA.

If you are finding the worst place to do mba, this is the place.they make it a very uncomfortable experience. The staff is not supportive. They help you until you pay in full. Then they take months to reply to emails even. Go to them if you have money to waste.

I have done my MBA here in university of WTSD, recommend for MBA students and even thd local lecture panel also good as well the almost all lectures were conducted by foreign lecture faculty.

The best place to get an MBA qualification in Sri Lanka. Great Panel of Lecturers, Good staff and great location. What I like most about BSCs MBA programme is its flexibility

The best place for your post graduate and doctorate programs in Business Management. Every lecture is conducted by highly trained, qualified l, experienced and well exposed foreign lecturers. Tied to one of UK's well respected university. It has very professional and helpful staff members. And the crowd attracted to this place is higher level executives and business personals so the exposure you'll get is priceless. I personally have a wonderful experience there and will recommend for anyone in a heartbeat.

They do conduct MBA and DBA programs systematically and friendly staff but campus manager should be more flexible. They always tied up with good Uni in England. Very much flexible programs are available here,
