29I had made an appointment with the doctor, paying for the treatment in advance, but when I arrived at the hospital the doctor did not show up and could not even be reached by telephone by the hospital staff. I was reimbursed, but no one will reimburse me for the cost of the long trip in vain.
The worst hospital for any service. Poor customer service and communication. Specially the receptionist. NEVER GO THERE.
Subpar experience all around. The staff is really condescending towards patients. They regularly skip appointment numbers to give priority to their friends and family. Avoid this place at all costs.
Management of Park Hospital seems deaf and dump. Money eager! See the way how these reception people are behaving. Ridiculous
Park hospital has the worst customer service and is rude as hell. They kept cutting my calls, made me stay on the holds, and then again hung up on me four times.
The receptionists are very rude, no phone etiquette at all. When I called to ask if the doctor has arrived for consultation, they replied to me saying rudely, "if you have booked an appointment you should be on time" (but the doctor arrived about 30 minutes late). The receptions of other reputed private hospitals never talk to their customers like that! Do not recommend this place to anyone.
No common sense to maintenance staff also. They started to drill the walls for a repair during a doctor consultation, had to move to another room in the middle of consultation.
They charge the same hospital fee as other hospitals but service is terrible.
However, the nursing staff is professional, pleasant and very supportive.
Garbage service, set and paid for an appointment with a doctor, and he was more than an hour late.
I went for a medical check up, very good service nurses are really friendly. Fast service. Medical check up was completed within less than one hour.
Staff was very nice and treatment hospitality was good. Place was not so clean and very pleasing. Reciptionists were very brutal. I heard blaming to a customer when I get there. Nurses were okay and good. Place is good near the Lanka hospitals.

Waited more than 1 hour to meet the doctor. This place is very untidy and smelly. Receptionist was not supportive. They do not inform their patients about the doctor's delay. Do not recommend this disgusting place to anyone.
Very poor pharmacy. They barely have anything you need and even if they do have they act like doctors who knows it all.

Please avoid this hospital. Unprofessional staff and a total rip off. There are no standard rates for treatment. When you come down to pay at the reception, they quote you insane amounts. Please make sure you ask how much it cost before you meet a doctor (I doubt they will tell you though). No parking at all. I have no idea why they are still operating to be honest. If you don't believe me, visit this place once and thank me later
The doctors are never on time on both instances had to wait for doctor for over 1 hrs past appoinent time horrible experience will not recommend.
I wanted to book an appointment for my kids with the dentist.
Was happy to see that there was an online system to do that.but unfortunately it is broken.

So I called. The receptionist asked me politely enough what He can do for me. I explained that I wanted to book 3 dentist appointments. He asked me to hold the line.
A young lady answered: "Ow, kiyanne. "
I said. "Do you speak English and it is for the dentist. "
"Please be on the line"
Another young lady answered: "Ow, kiyanne. "
So I was. "What do you want me to say? "
"Ow, kiyanne. " Again.
I said "I called for an appointment for the dentist. "
Hung up.
So I called back and got the receptionist. I explained I had just called and got 2 girls who could not speak English.
He said "ok.what can I do for you? "
Again I explained I wanted 3 dentist appointments. He asked me which day was good. I said any day in the afternoon, after school.
"Schools started again? " He asked in a very dubious manner.
. Yeah so that was my experience. In the end he took my number and said he would call again. Haven't heard back.
Just mind boggling that such poor customer service is offered as such places.

It was that bad
Made an appointment in the morning and he said come at 2: 30
Went there at 2: 30 and he said he was out having lunch he will be there in 20 mins
First of all, what kind of a hospital or company tells the patient or customer to wait for them after making an appointment for 20 mins? Or any minutes?
Then after 20 mins I called again and he said give him 5 mins!
Then after one hour I left and he calls me when he gets there sending this message below
“ Sorry for late I’m in center now
I was struck in traffic “
I’m not even going to talk about the unhygienic condition of this place
This place disgusts me overall
Very poor time management, poor admin, reception and all also No parking. I think either management should give to a party where it is possible to manage a hospital and its stakeholders. Dr Horadugoda put his time as 5pm weekdays in Lanka hospital as well as Park hospital. Both at same time. He goes to Lanka hospital first. But then park hospital should put a time after 5pm. Patients are waiting here since 5pm and doctor coming around 7pm very leisurely. Once we asked it from hospital they say yes he late everyday. So why hospital not adjust arriving time accurately? I think for all doctors, park hospital doing this. So avoid this hospital.
Worst pharmacy ever they mix up brands as they want and act as they know better than the doctors. They will refuse to replace even at the moment if they already billed. Would need to shout before getting anything done. If not an emergency avoid this like the plague.
The medication is charged at least double the cost of their own pharmacy price per UNIT! A total rip off from patients. Very poor transparency in the billing practice
