I went to RAMANI SALON MT. LAVENIA with my sister who is here from overseas to do manicure and pedicure with colour change.when made appointment a male answers and gave a figure for mani and pedi with colour as 4000 but onces its done it came to a huge figure of 28.400 it was a shocking they gave enomous excuses and the salon dose not look tidy at all.as the washroom was not clean and gave a bad audour. Hello Ramani Fernando.it's time for you to drop in and do a inspection of what's happing.not just sitting where you have to be.make sure you give a good service for what we pay.it's a lot of money that you charge your clients.but we will not recommend anyone to your salon anymore

I recently had a makeup session at Ramani Fernando's Elibank branch and am extremely disappointed with the results. The makeup artist refused to change the lipstick color despite my insistence, and the overall makeup did not complement my skin tone. The application was overly cakey and had a yellowish tint, making me feel uncomfortable throughout the function. Considering the higher price charged, I expected better, but unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place for makeup services for regular events. Truly disappointed.

After much thought I’ve decided to leave this review because my hair color didn’t turn out the way I expected it to be. After paying such a hefty amount considering my length and time taken, I’m really disappointed.

I chose to get it colored by Chloe and she really was sweet and talked me through the entire process and took her time with my hair. But my hair color is patchy and the entire hairline is still black. So the only feedback I got was that my hair resisted the color and hadn’t toned all the way through. No possible solution for it either. So ultimately just a waste of my time and money. I was really looking forward to this makeover since this was the first time I had a full head of color done but I regret my decision now.

Their charges are costly (like you are in abroad) but the service is poor. The cut was meant to be layered but it wasn’t. Regretted going there. I have used other branches before when I come from abroad and used this one last week for the first time. The place is not clean, cluttered and dangerous to manoeuvre up and down. I didn’t get what I wanted for the money I paid. Never again.

Visited this salon at Elibank road to get my eyebrows and upper lip done, even though the place was a bit smaller, the service was really good!
The staff were super friendly and accommodating, which I believe is a very important feature to have in the beauty industry; they make you want to visit again. The service was up to the standard, really professional and the result looked great! Would recommend!

Experienced stylists with great advices.
However a haircut with blow dry costing 7K maybe not exactly budget friendly. This was in September 2022

They are simply excellent. They are consistently improving their courteous and excellent services!

Specifically asked if they knew how to do a Curl Cut and they said they did.

Ended up with a horrrible Bob for Rs. 4,000. Could've gotten my hair cut in a bob at any road side barber for Rs. 700.

I repeatedly emphasised about the shrinkage issue when it comes to curls, not that they paid a lot of attention to it. My hair skrinks atleast 3-4 inches once its dry. She cut my hair the way they would cut straight hair and now the post shrinkage hair is coming up to just my ears.

Ruined my waist length curls.

Chloe at RFS Eli Bank helped me to get my hair done so perfectly just the way I wanted it (it was even better with her skills being applied)

She's proactive, passionate and absolutely good at what does. Her patience, friendliness, hygenic measures made me feel very comfortable and relaxed while she worked her magic on my hair

I love the staff and the facials.

However, Their mani-pedi’s are way to expensive. While I know the brand name carries a certain valued I properly felt ripped off for the first time in my life. It was the most expensive mani-pedi I’ve ever received.

The products used for the mani-pedi were literally products you can get from your local supermarkets However the staff did a fabulous job with making me feel welcomed, and did decent work on my nails.

But, I’d still not go back for the same mani-pedi, but the facials - I RECOMMEND! Ask for Michelle, she works magic.

The service by my stylist was great. But sadly the salon at Elibank Road needs a good revamp. The place is quite small so when it gets crowded it’s too noisy and feels claustrophobic. The music was way too loud. But they were nice enough to reduce the volume after I asked them to.

Went into to get highlights, the hairdresser simply refused to apply the colour requested and further continued to apply a shade she wanted rather than what the customer wants.absolutely stubborn employees. The service was also far too over priced and the hairdresser proceeded to cut the hair although that was not requested.absolutely unsatisfied with the result and would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

Doesn't care about customer satisfaction. Makes excuses to cover mistakes made on customers hair and rediculously over priced.

They don’t know how to cut hair. Very disappointing. Now I have to wait 6 - 12 months for this terrible haircut to grow out. No space to breathe. No Ventilation. Chemicals fumes from treatments very uncomfortable to bear. Worst experience I have had.

I do Haircuts with Amila here. Its always friendly at Ramani. If you can afford the price its a good saloon, especially for the lovely ladies.

5 times more expensive than what I received last time from another salon but we did not get any better than them. I wanted to get an hair updo but they discouraged saying it is not possible. I got a updo with less hair last time. Very disappointing. Will never go there.

In my experience the staff is not listening to clients. Staff should learn to put makeup, hairstyles according to client. Not everybody seek the same thing.
