Ramani Fernando Salons

These "Hairstylists" are not able to cut a Man's hair and give a propper balanced haircut. Spending way too much money on a simple haircut which my 6 year old can do better. No appology or willingness to fix it because the staff is more worried about Instagram and making TikTok videos.

I attended to Ramani's Salon at Cinnamon Grand in Jan 2023. The staff are very professional and helpful. I want to thank for the male stylist (unfortunately I forgot his name) who did my hair very nicely on that day and the female stylist who did a very simple and matching makeup. I am highly recommended this saloon.

Unprofessional staff that was on duty on the 8th of May 2023 between 2: 30pm and 3: 10 pm. 4 hairdressers didn’t know what colour my partner wanted and the behaviour of the staff laughing at my partners request in Sinhalese. Unfortunately for the staff, my partner understands Sinhalese despite her ethnicity being European and had no choice than leave the saloon as it was insulting.
Even at that point when she said she wanted to leave one guy (Prabahth) stood on her way to block her from leaving.
@Ramani Fernando - clearly this is not the standard of your hairdressing legacy in Sri Lanka. Kindly look into this unprofessional behaviour.

Absolutely love this place! Got make up done from Ramani Fernando salons at Cinnamon & it was flawless.

I love the friendly staff, namely Vasana, Harsha, Kavindi, Nisal and Kanchana. Vasana and Harsha did a great job of saving my badly damaged hair while Kavindi and Kanchana worked on my gel nails. Nisal helped a great deal while keeping us all entertained. It is an absolute must to see how Harsha works on your hair. He is a real artist.
I would not go to anyone but the people that are mentioned above.

I always choose Cinnamon Grand Branch as the Hair Stylist Mr. Prabath always does an amazing work with my hair. I don’t want to get my hair cut any where else.

There was this one time I had to go to Kandy Branch and sadly they didn’t do a good job and I was left with nostalgia.

I’m extremely happy with Ramani Fernando Salons, Cinnamon Grand Branch and I’m very grateful for Mr. Prabath and the team. The salons’ atmosphere is very calming and have very positive vibes!

I have been using Ramani’s for over 20 years, every time I visit Sri Lanka on holidays I never miss to come here for my beauty and hair treatments, however this time they really messed up my hair big time. Within one week they used 6 times chemical hair products. First appointment she did my hair color so darker than my request which I complained and they offered me to come back again to correct it, Which I did. After three and half hours the guy who did my hair made my highlights literally yellow. The most ugliest hairdo ever. Ramani salon uses completely outdated techniques for hair color and highlights. They have absolutely no clue what so ever modern techniques, techniques used in Switzerland for my usual hair color and highlights.
I spent five freaking hours 4 chemical products, at the end I thought my hair will fall off.
Never ever I will let them touch my hair again or visit Ramani again. Highly disappointed and left the salon so frustrated. Thank you for damaging my hair so much and didn’t even offer a free treatment to pull it off. SHAME!

Not the place to go and get a mani and pedi. They did quite a messy job. They have really old nail polish that are faded and very bad quality. Waste of 7000 rupees.

I got a wonderful service. They didn't spent much time to do what I requested and it was perfect. Will recommend their services.

Prabath gives an amazing haircut everytime. Very efficient and friendly. Recommended for long hair

This January  I had a hair cut and it was superb! Few weeks ago I had a hair cut at the same branch (RF salons cinnamon grand). My usual hair artist was not there and another one did my hair cut. He don't know how to cut a hair exactly! I think he got an experience how to cut a hair using my hair.
What I have to say is there are a lot of hair artists go to your usual and don't give people to have a train with your hair!

Every time I’ve gotten my haircut here they do a horrible job. This time I looked in the mirror and cried when I saw my hairdresser did not follow my instructions to keep my existing layers and gave me the worst layers I have ever had. It looks like a child with scissors cut my hair, uneven and choppy with no transition from long to short layers. The hairdresser had very little training on how to cut hair. DO NOT GO HERE FOR HAIRCUTS.

The quality of haircuts are a hit-and-miss. Sometimes it’s good, but very often, it’s not. The service you get pretty much depends on the particular hairdresser. And there seems to be a number of mediocre hairdressers here. That’s just not good enough at all considering the price and the reputation of the salon.

Very professional in the field of hair dressing and make ups. Can't fault on anything. Thank you for the excellent Ceylon tea.

Harsha, the hair stylist, made sure my experience was as anxiety-free as possible, and he really knew how to handle my wavy/curly hair.
I loved the final look!

I went for a hair cut on 16th Feb. My hair was done by their Manager. He did a marvellous job. It is very sad that he is resigning and going back to Bangladesh. Cinnamon Grand Staff is very friendly and courteous. Specially the lady who is at Reception. Earlier I use to go to Ramani Salon at Taj Samudra. The lady who is at the Reception is not friendly at all and not cooperative too. I recommend Cinnamon Grand for anyone.

Disappointed in sweep ups/ up do hairstyles
Stylists have not much creativity in them.
They should have more seminars and expositions keeping up with current trends

I made an appointment at the last minute just as they were about to close. Without turning me away, they took my appointment and did a fabulous job in cutting my hair. Kudos to Dinesh at the Cinnamon Grand outlet for doing the hair cut with the same energy he would have done at 10am.
