Shine Wedding Photography - Sri Lanka

At the begening he was the best photographer in town but after few months he bacame the worst photographer. Totally unprofessional behavior. No answer the phone.

I do not recommend them at all, horrible customer service. And not reachable. It is a huge hassle get a work done through them so do not fall in to trouble willingly even after reading this.

Don't go to this guy. Paid the full amount and he hasn't given my wedding album yet. I've lodged a complaint with all of those people who were swindled by this guy.

Did my friend's wedding. Never gave the edited photos, enlargements or albums. Dont get caught to this person.

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone because he has been the definition of disappointment and unprofessional. One of my closest friends had her wedding last year and I know for a fact that she has been and still is trying to get her photos finished. He's been ghosting her and finally, he had the gentlemanly courtesy of blaming her in bad words.
Please don't ruin your special day by trusting him.

Absolute Disappointment. One star is too generous for this photographer. We hired them to capture our special day and create a wedding photo album, but they failed miserably on both fronts. Months have passed, and we still haven't received our album. Communication with them is virtually nonexistent, and it's beyond frustrating. Save yourself the disappointment and look for a photographer who actually delivers on their promises.

If you have a wish for being utterly stressed out on your wedding day and years after your wedding chasing a photographer requesting for the services they promised and you have purchased, go with this guy!

These guys ruined the most beautiful day of my wife and me, by behaving so unprofessionally, using drugs on the job, putting in zero effort for anything. They were so lazy that, spent only 15min for shooting before poruwa ceremony and didn't even take pictures of relatives during the wedding hall function. There wasn't even one single photo of the bride in her dress outside for us to use.
Not just the lack of photos, they just point their high end cameras with no concern about angles, lighting or anything and shoot. The results are so bad, when they asked us to select some photos for printing, there were barely 25 usable photos.

They charge you a king's ransom, for basically a bunch of photos that could have been taken by a 10y old with a point and shoot camera.
It has been six months since the wedding and we are yet to see the album or the framed photos. You try to contact them for months, using different numbers so they will not disconnect your call, and still end up with only false promises.

NEVER EVER hire these guys even for a birthday shoot, unless you like getting robbed in daylight.

We are glad to say that shine Photography is the best of the best ️… They did an amazing work on our dream day. ‍️‍️

I'm sorry to have to write this review, but I had an extremely unpleasant experience with photographer from Shine. Not only was he unreliable, but he failed to show up on the agreed upon date. It's frustrating and disappointing when you rely on someone to capture important memories and then they just let you down.

Worst customer service. Do not recommend anyone to obtain their service. Neither albums nor trailers have been received even after full payment and after three years since my wedding.
Still (2023-04-17), I have not received my wedding enlargement photos, edited photos, or video. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
They wasted our time always.

We are so glad that we selected Shine as our photographer on our wedding. We can’t say enough about how energetic, engaging he is and the quality of work he provides.
He has an amazing eye and has a magical way of finding the perfect angle, lighting and of course expressions. Most importantly he is so easy to work with and there were zero stress involved. Specially our page boys and flower girls are really liked him and they were so please to work with him.
Thank you Shine and the crew for the amazing job you guys did and the final photographs were beyond our expectations.

Collected the album after 15 months. Shine is a good photographer alright but admin part is pretty screwed up. Handed over the soft copies after a month for the edited copies and album. Three months later once we check the album status Shemik told us 'Electricity lost during when he was cutting and pasting the album and soft copies are no longer with them'. Then we went to hand over the photos again during the fuel shortage and gave all the details. I've sent them couple name more than four instances (Shemik WA, Shemik SMS, Editor, Shine Photography WA) however, now the couple name is incorrect in our album. To put frankly, this is not worth the money nor the hassle.

We had the best time with Rukshan wickremanayake. He was so friendly, helpful and always cheered us. Specially in the main photo session, he made us smile alot and done a fantastic job. He adjusted brilliant to the occasion and done a great job. Once again thank you Rukshan, you made our special day even more memorable.
