Visted SLIM for the first time today to pick up my student card and textbook for CIM. I may have unintentionally freaked out one of the officers there who really didn't understand why I was recording initially but soon understood after I showed him my maps profile. Overall pleasant experience, managed to pick up my student card and textbook relatively quickly.

Horrible Institute Ever! Before teaching "understanding customers problems" to students, SLIM management need to learn and practice it. Customers are nothing to them.

Never recommend any students because of the management issues. They are not considering the students concerns and they are treating aggressively to the students.

The business school or where the place SLIM (Sri Lanka institute of Marketing) conducts it lectures. The place is good. All the classrooms are well facilitated. There is small canteen to have a snack. Staff are much supportive.

Issue is the lack of parking space. The visitor or student has to keep his vehicle on the side. Now the SLIM security people do not pay attention on the vehicles. There is possibility to happen something unfavorable for the visitors. Specially no space for bikes.
Cars or other vehicle can park few meters aways. But bikes?

I did a program in 2020.and we had our graduation ceremony in January 2021. They have not given the transcript yet. When inquired about it they either blame another person or do not reply to any of the emails.

SLIM business school has a remarkable lecture panel who are always support it students to learn, and if you want to become an entreprenuer or a marketer in future, choose a place which gives value to what you learn which has written examinations, assignments and practical which slim provides.

I did the PCM last year and i got distiction for my course. I have been invited to the graduation ceremony last month and inwas unable to participate to the event because of my privet work. When i came to collect my certificate they charged 1000 rupees as a surcharge. They didnt even inform it earilier. I came all the way from Bentota to colloect my certificate and i dont have any option therfore i paid and collect my certificate. The surcharge is okay with me but at least they should inform me eariler.
