Vajira Salon

Vajira Salon is a high end salon with 3 branches located around Colombo. This branch is located on the High Level Road in Kirulapone.

It is right beside the main road and has adequate parking facilities for the customers they handle. Their payment counter is right beside the entrance door. It is also air conditioned and very clean with the interior being lavishly decorated which pleases the eye. The interior also has ample seating and area for waiting customers.

I went in for a quick trim close to their opening hours. There was only me getting my hair cut during my visit. They immediately saw to me and gave me a great trim. The prices are okay, not too high and not too low with most trims and non styled hair cuts being around Rs 1,500 which has always been the charged amount at each of my visits there.

The staff is great here and seem very friendly as I was greeted with smiles when I entered, which is always a bonus at any business. As with all salons go with an idea or a picture of what you want.

I leave the Kirulapone Branch of Vajira Salon a 5 Star review as it is easy to travel to, has adequate parking facilities, is air conditioned, is clean, and has good staff who will provide you with a good service. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and this salon is now my go to salon for haircuts.

Expensive and not good with suggestions. I showed a picture and he was like, you’re already like this? (Photo was of a handsome guy with an amazing hair and i was neither). Then he proceeded to make my head look like a football. I barely escaped with a schoolboy cut after telling him exactly what to change.

Went for a haircut, beard trim and a clean up. Haircut and the beard trim were good but the clean up wasn’t done well.

Mayura is my go to guy, ask for him. Freshest fades and cuts for men in town and great prices.

Must have is a head massage at the end of your cut!

One of the good places to visit for a grooming. Recommend tharindu as he will listen to your need and make it happen at your desired style

Mostly skilled barbers. Professional services and hygienic. Credit accepted. I recommend Dhammika as he cuts my hair well.

My horror experience was in the Kirulapone branch.

The salon itself has a luxurious outlook. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Tharindu, who is a hair dresser there, has a good set of skills in how to cut hair according to a customer's need. He listened to my request and did a great job on my hair cut. All in all, recommended for anyone who is looking to get a hair cut without much hassle and with a sense of class.

Hair cut was Rs 1250. And the 10 min head massage is Rs 1350.
I would only recommend the hair cut as the massage was a rip off.
The ambience and the staff was good.

They didn't cut the simple haircut I asked for my son, even after showing several downloaded photos.we have grown hair for several months to have that haircut to be done.unfortunately barber told that he understood the haircut & cut very shortly without letting me to tell a word.

Good salon, good staff. I've never been to another salon. Literally. But. They are now becoming overpriced.

They have taken appropriate safety measures in accordance to fight against the Covid19 pandemic. Highly recommend for hair care. Best suggest to make a prior appointment. Parking is a hassle if their parking slots are full.

Classy salon with fast and easy services. A typical gold facial costs 3500LKR a haircut cost 800LKR for men. Located in Kirulapone, Colombo 6, Sri Lanka.

Had a really bad experience with these guys, all posh in the out but very unprofessional staff! Was disgusted; and walked out! Warned the management to make sure it doesn't happen again to anyone.

Nilanga was the Baber, Asanka was the cashier and person in charge that day.

Jagath Perera (Manager) got in touch to shape it up. All rosi talks, He put his staffs down stating they think they are doctors hence all these issues. Reminded him the problem was with the management and not the staff. Promised to get back within two days with a solution but never got back. It's more than a week now. They needed a good boss and proper training!

Please dont go here! Had the most heartbreaking and unpleasant experience. My sister had a hair length of more than 3feets. This was her hair growth over 12 years. Went for a trim with a small layer and clearly told to cut 5 inches from and leave the length.

Made her hair really short. Now the longest layer is less than 1.5 feet. Cut it right in half. And the other layesr r even shorter than in a normal layer making her hair volume half of what she had. Used to have very thick hair.

I'm sure they kept it for extensions from the way they murmured to each other and laughed. Ppl shd earn fairly. Not like this. Shame on your business!

Its a really good place they do exactly what you say and good service but is expensive
