Good ambience. At the reception, staff are soft spoken and giving a detailed briefing. About OPD Dr, without bothering the patients waiting outside, Dr attended, listened, discussed, diagnosed in a calm and quiet manner. Quick service at Pharmacy. Salesman at Pharmacy is not fluent in English, but managing.
Plz arrange to provide drinking water facility near OPD.

Very unprofessional I took my dad to this hospital yesterday (15/4/2023) at about 12 noon because he was very ill there was no doctor in emergency unit.the nurse checked the blood sugar and pressure. And the pressure was very low. So I decided to take my dad to the general hospital. There was no doctor in the emergency unit to consult but the nurse came running to the road saying there is a bill to pay I gave her the money and said to pay. Very unprofessional. This comment is for the people please think twice before u go to this place. May I know what is the action the hospital is gonna take regarding this because It is pointless receiving only replies for this review and no action been taken. Because in hospitals they should not prioritize money but to service the people

I had a terrible experience at this dental clinic. They did not do any x-ray or scans before filling my tooth. The filling was done poorly and caused me more pain within a month. I had to go to another clinic (Lush Battaramulla) where they did a root canal to fix the problem. The dentist and the service at western hospital Rajagiriya were very unprofessional and incompetent.

As ada derana said They have stolen kidneys from peoples who are economically unstable.they lost both money and kidney.

I saw in the news that innocent people's kidneys are being secretly removed from this hospital. All Sri Lankan people beware of this hospital.

This hospital is famous in Middle East for selling kidneys. I saw in the news that this hospital sold kidneys to a large group of people from the Middle East. This is really a scam. There may be other similar rackets in this hospital. The government should cancel the license of this hospital and conduct an investigation.this hospital may have high connections to do this shady business.

Edit: Nope. Not spam "No photos"? Yo. Watch the news there are video testimonials apparently this hospital is a front for organ harvesting and theft. Do not support this operation

Very good service, staff are very polite, and helpful. The nurses who attended on me were very kind and professional. This hospital is probably among the best in comparison with most of the other private hospitals. Keep up the good work

Wife was admitted to Western Hospital for our baby’s delivery, from point of admission to discharge the service was top notch. The doctors, nurses and staff were very friendly and attentive. The nurses put an effort in what they did and genuinely cared for the mother and baby.

The room was quite spacious and good, however only complain is the fact that there were mosquitoes in the room. Management needs to sort that out.

Hospital charges were pretty reasonable and worth it.

Overall, was very happy how everything went. Would have been 5 stars if not for the mosquito issue.

Went to get a vaccine but was a bit confused with entry and paying the bill. Therefore had to visit several floors but the vaccine service was quick

Fast & Efficient PCR service. PCR Test taken at 8am & result received at 2.30pm on the same day.

I am highly disappointed and I wanted to warn others of my experience with DR Nalaka

I went to the dental clinic at western infirmary to get a filling done. The place was empty and no staff were available, the front desk called and informed the doctor.

The doctor was an older gentleman who came with his wife. He decided to take a nap in the consultation room while his wife treated me (not sure if she was a licensed dentist, the name board displays the other doctors name).

When they were cleaning my teeth the attendant paid no attention to the process and ended up splashing water all over me. When I asked for a tissue, they gave me a piece of cotton that is used to clean wounds which made a huge mess.

They were not at all hygienic and the doctor did not tell me anything or what to do after my filling.

I would like to warn anyone against going to the dental ward in Western Infirmary.

One of the worst hospital staff ever.just called to get some information about a doctor.operator was so rude.she kept telling "why can't you understand mr.should i keep telling you again and again".

This is the worst place in sri lanka to go for medical needs even their management is giving false information for the customers specially Mr Harshard and owner Dr Ommaar actually its not even worth of giving them 1 star

The whole staff is very friendly, kind and polite. Specially in this covid 19 pandemic situation their caring service uplifts the confidence of any patient. Thank u for the service.

Not so great service, took a lot of time to respond and very slow, one nurse was rude. It was okay service at best.

This is regarding dental clinic at Western infirmary Hospital (Pvt) Ltd

The incident started at approx one year back when i was having a tooth ache and i went to this well established hospital for a solution for the same

There was a doctor in the name of Nalaka Medagama and he suggested me to do a nerve filling for the said thing

On the same day He started his treatments and asked me to visit two or three times for the rest of the treatments since within a day a nerve filling couldn’t be completed.

As he asked me to, i went several times and the job was done after three or four visits

It is relevant to mention that the professionalism of that doctor or the hospital is in a very minimum level hence i had to wait so long until the doctor comes (Even After making appointments, doctor is not there since he is handling some more dental clinics around the area he leaves) so the patients have to wait more than 30 Mins.

Sometimes they say doctor won’t come within one or two hour so we have to revisit on another day. This is so much disgusting service since we have already spoked and having appointments with them.

However after having so many struggles with this well known western infirmary clinic, the job was done. (As they said)

Then the best part comes.

Approximately after six months period, same pain started on my teeth and the area which can’t be started after a nerve filling since what they done in a nerve filling is they remove the nerves not to have pain again. (As i aware)

Since I already did the nerve filling, all i had to do is to meet him again for the same issue.

He checked the same again and did several fillings again and said pain won’t come again. He didn’t mention any reason for the pain.

And again and again i had to visit several times since i had the same pain which he was always saying that the pain won’t come again.

AND

Approximately After a one year, same pain started again WHICH CANNOT BE HAPPENED AFTER A NERVE FILLING

since i was not confident enough about the doctor and his service, i visited another doctor and what that doctor said was your nerve filling has not done in a properly manner and asked me to take an xray to check about the present status.

At that time they has nearly done only the half of the nerve filling on my teeth.

On the same day that doctor tried to complete that half done nerve filling and said it cannot be done because the previous time it was not done properly. Pain continued and all i had to do is to remove my teeth.since there were no any solution to get rid of that pain

I have paid approx more than 10,000/- to western infirmary and visited 6-8 times and at last i lost my purpose also

All the bills and X Rays are with me and I will never ever recommend this place and the Doctor Nalaka Medagama who wasted my time money and my purpose.

Really disappointed about the service and the practice of that doctor and the crew.

Saying pioneer in the market and having this kind of unprofessional doctors in the hospital is one of the worst scenario i have ever seen
