Angel Tours Hikkaduwa

We did a half-day tour that included a boat ride and visits to several sites including a moonstone mine, the tsunami museum and a turtle park. The itinerary itself was great and the driver was very friendly and accommodating, but there wasn't much of an explanation of where we were going and what we were seeing. On reflection, the tour seems overpriced (27,000 rupees for 2 adults), given that the majority of places we visited relied on donations and had minimal or no entrance fees. This may be a one-off experience, as I can see the other reviews are very positive, but our experience was, unfortunately, not satisfactory.

We went on a great one-day excursion (more like sightseeing) to the city of Ella: we rode a train, walked through the jungle to the nine-arch bridge, climbed Little Adam's Peak, looked at the waterfall and fed the monkeys there! The departure was at 5 am, we returned at 5 pm, we traveled just the two of us with my husband in an air-conditioned car. Our driver was Janit - very careful! We received a wagonload of impressions and returned tired and happy! Thank you very much once again, I highly recommend it

Asela helped us over the past few days travel all around the coast of Sri Lanka from Hikkaduwa, to Galle, Mirissa and Tangalle over 5 days. He was a very safe driver and his air conditioned van was very comfortable.
Asela always arrived on time and made my mother and I feel very safe while travelling around with just the 2 of us.
Asela was a great tour guide and showed us a lot of different attractions that we wouldn't have known about otherwise. He was also a fantastic translator and helped us greatly in negotiating a boat ride around Koggala lake and translated all the information our boat driver was giving.
We were all able to have a laugh whilst driving around and Asela was very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions about the places we were travelling through.

Angel Tours showed us the beauty of Sri Lanka; wildlife, landscapes, beaches, culture, foods and above all its lovely people.
The two of us did a 10 day tour around the country, everything arranged by Angel Tours. We visited Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Kandy, Ella, Yala, Galle, Hikkaduwa. That's a busy schedule, yet it was very relaxed not having to worry about anything and just enjoy! Angel Tours made sure we had perfect timing for our visits to highlights, the best seats, rooms with splendid views, and visited the tastiest restaurants! (All according to our budget, off course)
Their white airconditioned van is a perfect way to travel: big windows offer 360 views to all the beautiful landscapes. And Asela is the best driver a guest could ask for, always keeping us safe, and the three of us had so much fun together! In Hikkaduwa we also loved the tuk-tuk tours with Jagath, a very knowledgeable tourguide.
Our last days we stayed at a beachfront hotel however we did enjoy a wonderfull home-cooked dinner and mini cooking-class at the Angel villa!
We highly recommend Angel Tours and will love Sri Lanka for ever, thank you!
