Bentota Lucky Tours & Travels

Our tour started off with a river cruise where Indika pointed out exotic birds, crocodiles & monitors. We were served a refreshing fruit platter for breakfast with fresh fruit juice, all prepared by Indika's lovely wife. We got to hold baby crocodiles & baby monkeys & fed bananas to a huge family of monkeys. It was unforgettable! The lunch was just to die for. We learned how to cook curry & dhal & sat down for the biggest feast I've ever seen. Indika's wife was so welcoming & she worked so hard to make all the amazing food. We couldn't move afterwards because we ate so much! We then visited an ancient temple where Indika explained the history of Buddha before going to a spice garden to learn about natural medicines. We visited rice fields & cinnamon fields before heading to release the baby turtles! Releasing the babies & watching them run to the ocean was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. Indika was fantastic, we will definitely be back.

Sri Lanka is full of surprises, and has some thing new to do everyday, but what stood out the most were the friendly and humble people of Sri Lanka. One of those people amazing people was Mr. Lucky, who made our trip a memorable one, as he would go out of his way to make us feel at home. If you ever plan to visit Sri Lanka the one person you should contact should be Mr. Lucky, all the best.

We had a great time in Sri Lanka and found our guide very attentive. He was a good driver in the quite busy cities and took good care of us. Whenever we wanted to do something out of the programm it was never a problem
