Restaurant was recommended by the locals and it was really great.
We've tried sear fish and lobster. Both dishes were very delicious and were cooked with garlick. I've never tried lobster before, but it was already prepared in such way that the major amount of meat was easy to dig out.
Drinks were satisfying, nothing extraordinary but they were good.
Waiters and seafood's cook are all very smiley and hospitable, so they' re presenting you nice mood. Overall i believe it's 4.5-5 star place (5 star if you are going for seafood)

We were there every day and it was a highlight every time! The waiters are very accommodating and want to fulfill your every wish. Using the beach loungers is also great, so you can treat yourself to a snack every now and then. We'll definitely come back again. Excellent staff, food and location! After 2 weeks in Sri Lanka we came here, and actually it was one of the best meals we’ve had in here so far. Great food and drinks. Comfortable sun beds, and great location at the beach. Nice staff.

A very nice little restaurant on the beach, friendly staff, super service, and absolutely great seafood. If you want to have crabs at the restaurant, it's better to call the restaurant before to check on availability. Jumbo prawns was really good. You can also take a dip in the beach while you wait for the food. Overall, it was a super nice experience.

I don’t dare to eat prawns anywhere else… here they are just magnificently delicious. An ABSOLUTE MUST in Unawatuna.

Best food in Unawatuna beach, nice plates, reasonable price. We will go for it in the upcoming weeks too, no question. Lobster was amazing, prawn salad also, kebab too. Actually everything is nice here, guys are always smiling

We have tried all position from the daily catch - simply amazing! Great lobster, tiger & jumbo prawns - benchmark. Finally mullets, both red and white are a must! Decent wine selection and proper sours that keep you tipsy - whisky and arrack.

You guys are the best restaurant i've ever been to in my 14 days holiday in Sri Lanka. Everyone was motivated and in a good mood. The food is unbeatable. Whether it was a starter, main course or dessert, everything tasted so good. We stayed in the hotel next to it for 5 days and ate in Black and White every day. Even if we have already gone to another city, we have to think of your restaurant. And now we are again in Europe, we still miss your hummus with pitta bread, cashew, fried rice, fruit juice and everything else. Thank you all for your hospitality and warmth.

Restaurant was recommended to us and we were not disappointed. Friendly service with beach side location. Good seafood and menu choice although a little on the expensive side. Food is good quality, well cooked and with generous portions. We found it was always full of customers which is a good sign. Recommend.

Best seafood in Unawatuna! The tiger and jumbo prawns were perfect! Next time i will take the lobster.
