Catalina Grill Restaurant

We liked. Oddly enough, the food arrived quickly. Delicious rice, juice, shrimp. Inexpensive. Large portions. There is no card payment.

My recent visit to Catalina Grill, managed by Airforce Koggala, left much to be desired. The service was abysmal, with slow and inattentive staff who seemed indifferent to customers’ needs. The food quality was subpar, lacking flavor and freshness. To add insult to injury, I was shocked to find out that card payments were not accepted, causing unnecessary inconvenience. Overall, my experience was deeply disappointing, and I cannot recommend this establishment to others.

Best place to dine in, friendly staff, good and delicious foods in a reasonable price. If there some variety of foods and beverages that would be great.

Well maintained place. There is plane that you can go inside and watch & take pictures. Nice place with a large space. Children can also play in this area. Recommended!

This restaurant is run by the Sri Lanka Air Force. It's not fancy, but the portions are huge and the prices are low, also delicious. There's also a nice, clean beach where you can chill and enjoy the view. Kids may enjoy this place because of the abandoned airplane on display.

Sure did not have to wait, added the ice cream to the pineapple juice; and rum for fun, with the deviled prawns.

They always give priority to foriegners. Twice we visted here both the day had same experience. Even we place 1 hour before and went back to the place our orders not prepared and they were serving foriegnera who came after us. This is very pathetic. Someone should look after this place.

Sea food mix rice was very good.that was enough for two people.pork develed was not as expected.staff and location very good. 2022/08/20.

A restaurent administered by Sri Lanka Air force and the this location is well know for the view point of many types of transport ways in one place. Can have food items n drinks for a reasonable price. Dedicated play area is also available for the children. An Air craft used by Air Force too available to board in n have a look.

Near Habaraduwa. Infront of air force ground in the beach side. This place is operate by Sri Lanka air force. Service quality is very good. Food are tasty and price is reasonable. There is a old air craft near the restaurant. Kids can enjoy it. Recommended as friendly and budget restaurant near Koggala

Worst lunch order experience ever after a 5star rating given for the breakfast on the same day. Food is average in taste and customer care is worst. This isn’t due to the way they treat customers but due to their lack of understanding of customer need. We didn’t want to delay our lunch and wanted to make sure we don’t waste our time by waiting until the meal is ready. So we called them several times on our way there but they asked us to wait 45min even after arriving at the location. We should have ordered from somewhere else if they let us know it beforehand. Still the chicken dish we received also too salty. This is the most disappointing experience I ever had in a restaurant food order and writing this kind of bad review for the first time ever.

Food is good, price is reasonable. But service is extremely slow. Takes more than an hour to serve after ordering. Easy access to beach and lot of parking space available.

Food is of medium-good quality. Price is a little bit high I would say.
They have a beach dining area which I love.

This place is very good and the food their was very tasty and i really recommend this place. And it's placed at a calm place next to a beautiful beach.

Really appreciate the customer service. Food is delicious. Catalina restaurants is having kid playing arena and airplane that was used by Sri Lanka Air Force. Highly recommend for anyone. You can spend hours without knowing here.

First of all the place looks great with an amazing view. Yet the service is really poor after waiting for about 15 minutes I was told that it would take about an hour for me to get my order. Then after about another 10 minutes I was told that the order would take even more than an hour. The service was poor and the staff seemed more focused on making customers leave the place. A complete time waste was the result. The place looks great because of the view but the staff service ruins it all. Hope you have a better experience than mine.

Beautiful place to enjoy your evening. Food at the restaurant are tasty and price is affordable
