Chooty Place - Beach Chill & Restaurant

Really a great place with very nice people. Always helpful, great service, great self-made beach beds at a fair price. The delicious food is also inexpensive and comes in good portions. The location is still a bit shabby, but there is a shower and toilet. You get a surfer feeling with a little bit Jamaican flair. Really authentic and not capitalistic yet.

Delicious and very nicely presented fresh food. The pub is a bit hidden, but it's definitely worth looking for. You can sit at a table right on the beach

Chooty kümmert sich um seine Gäste und hilft jedem weiter! Er ist nicht auf das Geld der Touristen aus, sondern betreut ehrliche Arbeit!

Außerdem hat er neben seinem Restaurant wo es sehr leckere Sachen zum Essen gibt, auch eine surfschule:)

Kommt zu diesem Platz es ist wirklich toll!

Lovely little place on the beach. They make the best dahl we had in Sri Lanka. I really recommend the coconut rotti with dahl for lunch. Prices are also very reasonable. We visited the place three times.

Amazing food and even better people. Go here if you get the chance! It is accessible from the beach. Went here twice and got the cucumber, onion, & tomato salad; chicken fried rice; fried potato; chicken rice curry; and mango and watermelon juice. Everything was so delicious and made with love.

We've made a quick stop at the beach and this was the best place for quick lunch with cold drinks. We will definately visit again on next trip to Sri Lanka!

We had lunch here a few times while on the island visiting family and friends. The servers here are just wonderful and have great memories it seems. We sat on the ocean front table and enjoyed the view with our delicious foods. Must try!

Great restaurant! Got the vegetarian rice and curry and got super surprised when the lovely ober served it. 4 different bowls and they where all so delicious! This is the best meal I’d hade so far. I would totally recommend Chooty place to you. Actually, you would be stupid not to go. Enjoy your food and the great service here️

If you’re looking for a good time at the beach chooty place is the best. White sandy beach and the natural reef pond is a great place for kinds and family. Snokling, surfing adding extra fun. Chooty is kind, fun host to be found. Tasty Home made cooking of his wife makes you feel at home.
