I also dare to write a review, but don't expect miracles, this hotel actually only provides so that it doesn't rain on you at night. The food is terrible, the service is nice, the location is terrible, there is almost nothing, only the ocean and a few houses. The only thing that can be praised about the hotel is that the pool looks pretty refreshing. I do not recommend this hotel at most for people with a low budget and little demands.

Is NOT a good hotel! Rooms are dirty, holes in the sheets, lots of vermin and mold in the rooms. Bathroom mirror was full of dirt.
Being far from the center is easy to do by bus.
But overall bad experience. Staff was friendly and helpful.
They do have a reasonably good score on booking, but like us, we cannot write a review there because at the beginning it says you will receive an "update" and you can cancel your room.
We did that, but then you can no longer write a review.

The only thing nice about this hotel was the swimming pool.
The first room they gave us had mold and even mushrooms growing on the wall of the bathroom.
So they gave us a new room without mushrooms but in this room the airconditioning was leaking like crazy.
We payed for two nights,
we asked are money back but they said they could not do anything.

Nice place for t price. Food buffet with limited variety but good taste n quantity. Worse were t toilets! N AC low

The family rooms were spacious but the bathroom was super awkward and smelly as something was wrong with the piping system. They did not have a TV or WiFi. The pool filter was not working and the water was murky. Only in the morning the pool was at a usable start. The service was beyond expectations, particularly Mr Karu who would go out of his way to serve his guests. Food was yummy and in good portions and variety. This place has a good potential if refurbished and maintained to cater to both local and foreign guests.

Good place to have a rest during a journey. The rooms are great and good service with friendly staff.
The condition of the pool was not that good when we went it was not cleaned for weeks and we had to clean it. And the tiles in the pool were broken and two of our guys cut their hands, Also the lights in the pool were broken.

We just stayed here for three nights and it’s was so good we extended our stay. The rooms are lovely, the staff are amazing and the food is delicious. Although the exterior of the main building is slightly run down in comparison to the pictures. The rooms and balcony area are really clean and well kept. Staff couldn’t have done more to help us and there breakfast were incredible. You should definitely book here!

Günstiges Hotel mit sehr nettem Personal. Ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber. Etwas weit zum Stadtzentrum, aber es gibt eine Bushaltestelle direkt beim Hotel und Tuk Tuks.
Das Essen vom Restaurant ist auch gut und man kann sich das Essen auch auf dem Balkon vor dem Zimmer servieren lassen.
Flughafenfahrt kann man auch haben.

Place is really awesome.service was good. Only issue was the pool. It was not much cleaned and chlorine level was high. Food is ok.

My family members stayed one night. Beautiful surrounding. Nice sea view. Good pool to play children. Friendly staff. Foods also good. Good place to stay.

So pathetic. Not recommended for anyone. Treat guests roughly. Cancelled booking without giving the guest any time to find alternative place. Staff wears rugs. Rooms are untidy.

Even their few staff sergice is best.the owner is friendly an kind to all.even he also serve to customers as staff. There was a lady too.good service an tasty food.my kids enjoyed. I recomend everyone once u visit hikkaduwa u can stay there.nice place clean an all

Chicken curry was great, also sri lankan breakfast was great.
Swimming pool wasn't too clean and tiles make scratches for kids.
Staff was very helpful

If you are looking for a place to chill out, and some peace and guiet, this is you're place. Away from town centre and turists.
Kids liked the pool, though it's old.
Place is bit worn out byt comfortable. Rooms are clean and have aircondition and warm water.
Sri Lankan food is very good and defenetly worth the money.
Very good breakfast allso.
Hotel baar has very good drink selection.

Amazing service with a great sea view and pool access for a very reasonable amount. Meals are also great. Definitely I will be back.

Good property. 3 star resort. Food is very costly but Service is good. Best part is you get 24 by 7 Pool Access. Bit far from main city. 2 to 3 Km from the main city. Very close to sea. Rooms doesn't have Television. Wifi is also not as good. One can plan 1 day stay in this property, but only for 1 day.
