I found this DIYATHRA SEASCAPE hotel, when I was searching for a hotel in GALLE UNAWATUNA to go out for a day out.
So we then went to the restaurant and had breakfast and Lunch.
Actually the food in that restaurant is very delicious. There are really no words to say. I have been to many hotels, but the food in this hotel is very delicious. I was really surprised by the taste of that cup of plan tea.
One of the best staffs in this hotel is kind, grateful and experienced.
We can talk to staff and make anything better.

Apparently the workers there are not interested in making a business. We were turned down accessing the restaurant because apparently the management had decided “last week” not to allow drinking alcohol inside the restaurant…. Funny thing is the alcohol is taken from ‘their own bar! ’

Here we sampled delicious seafood dishes. Price reconciliation. Also, the staff here provide high service.

Dont check the reviews! Foods are so delicious and worth for price. Also service is good but go before 10.30pm because kitchen is close after that time. Highly recommend this place for dining. Also parking area is large. I tried so many dishes chicken, pork rice, devel, soup all are so tasty and no need to drink lot of water like other places. Best place in galle I hv ever tried.

A quiet eatery amidst all the busy eateries near by. Parking is good. Good is good and serving size is very commendable. Service is good. Would come again for sure.

Worst food. Not reasonable for the price paid. It didn't taste fresh and the rice was a cheap one. Cleanliness was not up to standard. Even their customer service was bad. I don't recommend this place.

Please make sure to clean your pool, fix your showers and add locks to your bathroom doors. Food is mediocre.

We took takeaway lunch, but it took much longer than 20min they mentioned. Good location with parking. Food quality good.

Food is average and according to the taste I think sea food was refrigerated for many days and it's not fresh, their special rice also same and not cooked properly again I believe that too not fresh. Location is convenient but quality of food too matters. They need to improve their food quality.

Poor customer survive. Haven't seen a worst staff like this ever. They totaly forgot the customer order even the cutomers are infront of them (gave kitchen order after the reminder after 40 mins from original order). Negligence of the restaurant staff are up to sky and customer service under the ground level. Poor place.

Horrible service and worst food.
Rice was not cooked properly (maybe kept too long in the fridge), Fish tasted like Maldives fish, pasta was like a papadom and most of all the waiter was rude his attitude was as if we were dinning for for free. Will not recommend to anyone.

Went for dinner with my friends. They got a decent parking space for dining and also for car parking.however, the service is a bit slow. Foods & Drinks are average.

Very bad outdated foods. Not recommended to anyone. Don't go there and don't waste your money and time. I went there and ordered 2 large sea food fried rice and few fruit salads. I received outdated fried rice with 4 prawns 5 pieces of cuttle fish for 2 large size fried rice.and unriped fruits for fruit salad.unfriendly staff.

I went through most of the reviews and they were on negative side. I am wondering why it is so with the good experience I had here. Anyway I’ll share my food experience with you. There was average parking space available with a dedicated security officer in which we can assume there’s security for the vehicles. Place was clean and tidy. You can enjoy your food while enjoying the ocean view. I assume that it would be bit hot during the day time which may be a concern. When coming to food, all the dishes we ordered were hot and fresh. Taste was really good. With respect to the price you pay the food was really good and the potion size was even good (one full fried rice is sufficient for three adults). It took bit long to deliver the food we ordered, but for me the wait was worth. Staff was polite and helpful. I have attached the photos of the menu in which you can have a rough idea about the price. Hope they will continue the same good work. Cheers!

Food was quite mediocre. Ask for seasoning shakers if you are planning to eat there. Literaly everything is under seasoned. In the cream of chicken soup chicken pieces were batter fried, which was horrible. All the batter fried food seemed to be pre cooked (who knows when, I hope in the meal prep for the day) but it didnt feel fresh at all. Nothing did. And the price was okay but not okay to justify the mediocre food. And the water bottle which was priced at lkr 50 was sold at lkr 150, which is againt the law. Even the glass bottled coke was sold at lkr 150. Which again was against the law! All in all if you go to dine there, you would quite feel like you've been scammed by showing you the promise of the view and the environment. But when you go there you'll only experience mediocre food, mediocre view and environment, cant expect much from a bunch of scammers I guess. Can't recommend.
