Ferry Centara Ceysands Resort

A beautifully located resort in between the river and the Sea. The resort provides every opportunity to the guest to relax and enjoy the nature at its best. The resort also has many restaurants offering various types of cuisines to the guests.

It was nice place to stay. Need to have boat to reach hotel, booked in sea pool view room which was excellent and food buffet was normal. General had a good stay. Hoping to have more events

A good place to stay, and you need to take a boat ride to the hotel. I booked the room overlooking the sea and the pool and it was excellent. The buffet was good and in general the place is nice to stay, even if there were more indoor activities it would be special.

We stayed here for 7 nights during our visit to Sri Lanka. I’d definitely stay again lovely hotel staff go out their way to help. Nice food good breakfast. We booked the river safari trip with Lucky who’s located at the back gate near the beach. Friendliest young lad and made our boat tour very memorable taking nuts to feed the monkeys thank you Lucky.would have booked more trips but we’d already done a tour and done most the trips.

Hot rooms not good air conditioning, old furniture bed makes so much noises when slight movement, transportation from and to the hotel is not convenient, sea view room was not sea view due to the trees blockage, although the staff were friendly and helpful and amenities are good

Great place to stay! Very friendly and helpful personel. I would say everything is just great. Food, drinks, pool, beach what else you need for grey holiday?)
If you want go shopping, excursion by bus or tuk tuk ask for Kumar at the entrance of the beach.he helps with whatever you need to buy or whenever you need to go, tells fair prices for everything so you dont pay double, speaks English, Russian.
Trip by boat was amazing! Tortilla at the beach too. In short if you want to go anywhere or find anything just ask for this person.

We had a wonderful experience at Centara. We went on our holiday without having a very good idea about this hotel, and we were always pleasantly surprised by the good service starting from arrival. They were quick to change our rooms to ground floor rooms upon our special request. The rooms were clean, they had a nice beach area (I think it was a private beach), a clean large pool and specially very tasty food. The staff were friendly and helpful, they even provided us a complimentary birthday cake. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone who's looking for a nice beach holiday.

We went there to book the hotel for a wedding from the gate to the hotel we waited 20 minutes due to the receptionist did not care for us. They only treat white skin people, if you are a local dont even think to go to this hotel. Only one guy was treated us well. But I saw they treat well for white skin people very well.

First your details are matched on the other side of Island and after baggage screening you are taken to the resort by a boat.

I have deducted 1 star for poor check In service. Even though after advance booking and payment, it took them 45min to check us in.

The rooms were pretty well and luxurious. They had every facility from mini fridge to toiletries.

Service was amazing. Had no issues during entire stay.

The best thing about this Resort is the pool area. It's so huge you never feel crowded and just across the pool you have access to the beach. Towels are available at the pool area.

Coming to the buffet (Dinner and breakfast) : I had no issues, there were literally more than 70+ options from every continent of their guest list. Tables were always full so we had to wait.

Staff is polite. Stay was good. Worth the money? (15-16k INR per Night), Maybe not.

Had a great time at Centara Ceysands resort & Spa. The environment is very good. The food was tastier than we expected. Had a great time. Highly recommended

The hotel is pretty good but the ocean view rooms don’t really provide the ocean view. You are better of taking the pool view. The service is just barely satisfactory. The reason I am giving a low rating is because the waiter at the bar are pretty rude. They either hang up mid way in the conversation or don’t pick up.

The hotel looks good on the front and is as bad as possible from the back.
The garden in evening looks like some public park.
The corridors to the room looks like some society corridors.
When you go to the room nothing nore than a oyo room.
Also the bathroom, stinks so bad that my husband nearly vomited!
Ill management in the restaurant for breakfast.
Overall it was a spoiled stay!
Booked it for 2 days, checked out in just 1 day.

I have been there with my wife and kids last week. Everything is superb. Facilities, Rooms, Pool, Food, Restaurant is wonderful. I have been for numerous similar kind of beach resorts and must mention this is the place I have experienced the best service. Each and every staff member is very generous and very kind. Not only the hotel staff, even security guards, boat rider, lifeguard, everyone has provided a great service. I have never expected this kind of service standard after the pandemic situation. Highly recommended for everyone. Hope to visit again soon.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights.one of the best resorts we have stayed in so far. The food was amazing.the rooms were spacious and the pool was huge adjoining to a kids pool.very well kept hotel.hotel staffs were so kind and cheerful.we enjoyed the live music, water sports & most importantly the amazing buffet.thank you so much Centara management for the amazing hospitality.we look forward coming there soon again.can't wait. ️

The staff is very friendly and very helpful. They are doing a great job for all the customers. Location is great. Relaxing environment. There is a large pool. But not any breathtaking view though. You cannot sea bathe as there are high tides. Rooms are spacious with great ammenities. May be because of the covid hit to the business ttheywere bit cost cutting, buffet had less varieties and not upto the level of a 4+ resort but although the food was very tasty. We enjoyed the stay

Centara Ceysands Bentota ️ One of the best hotels in Sri Lanka. Local or foreigner the way they treat is really amazing. Buffet setting is awesome with mix of local and international foods. Rooms are really clean and spacious. Really a good place to stay with family. Staffs no words to say, really genuine and awesome kind hearted. We really had a good time, went on a boat ride. If your visiting Bentota the best place I can Recommend is Centara Ceysands Beruwala
