I recommend this place
A good place to rent a car, we rented a wagon for 2 days, with a deposit of 250 euros. (You can also use a passport as a deposit.) There is a limit on mileage, we had it 150 km a day, then for each km 25 rupees. Everything was processed quickly, filmed the car and drove off, upon return there was also a quick inspection of the car, they returned the deposit and left.
Not about this service, but just a note
if you have an accident, call the insurance police to determine who is at fault, it may not be your fault and you won’t have to forfeit your bail

We rented a Suzuki CelerioX car for 5 days, showed the car in advance, the car left no complaints, delivery and return were quick, the price was reasonable, I recommend it.
The only advice to the agency is to give it out with a full tank and return it the same way, it’s much more convenient, especially since the gas station is across the road)

Great service from Galle Express Rent a car. Delivered and collected car from my location. Car clean and in great condition. I have been using Galle Express for years now whilst previously living in southern Sri Lanka and would not go anywhere else for car hires.

Absolutely shocking experience where we were left without a car the evening before an early morning airport run.

Car was booked and confirmed over the phone, ID shared via whatsapp. The owner asked us to come to the shop to confirm. We took a tuk tuk, owner even spoke to the driver to give directions, but when we arrived he told us that he had given the car away. When we asked why he proceeded to curse and swear at us-completely uncalled for, intimidating behaviour

We are totally baffled and it really put a downer on the end of my elderly mothers trip to Sri Lanka
