Incredible and quiet villas. I would repeat without a doubt. We were a group of 5 and we thought it was incredible.

Stunning villas at a high standard! Everything is very beautiful and high quality done, the attitude towards guests is superb, I want to come back again and again!

Stay was clean and comfortable but I felt comparing with other airbnb basic amenities were missing like there was no microwave, no washing machine, no hot water in taps

I had a good weekend with my friends over at good story village. Everything was super smooth and the hosts were really accommodating.

Some areas for improvement include the voltage fluctuation (which affects the fan and a/c in the rooms) and also the flies in the general area by the pool and the living area (they're really annoying when you're eating).

The signage to good story could also be improved since it's on a narrow road. If it can be made shorter and not obstructed by anything then it would be great.

They were the only issues I found good story to have. Hopefully these are improved so we can visit again in the future! Thanks for having us!

We booked 3 nights at the good story villas and it was so great we decided to stay another night.

The villas are very private with great amenities and superb air conditioning in the bedrooms. The pools was a lovely way to cool off, especially after using the blender to whip up some cockies.

Veronica and Lena were absolutely lovely, anything we needed was well looked after.

Make sure to utilise the common area for exercise, yoga and table tennis.

Will 100% be back, a very well enjoyed holiday.

Perfect spot! Situated inbetween Mirissa and Unawatuna/Galle - 25-30mins tuktuk ride either way - this place is out of the busy tourist area and very peaceful but in very easy proximity to main beaches and stay necessities.
The area has tuktuks outside all day so really easy to get anywhere and can even rent own scooter at 1500lkr.
The villas are modern, light and airy with fear sized swimming pool, open plan living area, very comfortable and big beds. Powerful AC and fans if need be and perfect little kitchenette area if you like to prepare your own meals. Wifi is great and Netflix provided on tv:)
The staff are friendly and warmly welcomed us. The style of property is great with a laid back little village vibes; grass lawn in the centre and yoga pavilion. There are 8villas total each one was great size; you felt alone and peaceful all the while! Great secret little find! 11/10 would stay again

One of the standout features of Good Story Village is the pristine swimming pool – a true rarity among smaller hotels and villas. We appreciated the attention to cleanliness, which made our time at the pool even more enjoyable.

A major draw for our group was the nearby Good Story Surf spot, conveniently located just a 15-minute walk away. This location is ideal for surfers of all skill levels – beginners will appreciate the friendly environment for learning, while more advanced surfers can continue to hone their skills.

In conclusion, Good Story Village exceeded our expectations and truly deserves a 5 out of 5 rating. We highly recommend this tranquil retreat for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing vacation and some fantastic surfing.

I stayed here with 4 friends. We had an amazing time at the villa. It looked great and the personnel were very helpful and easy to communicate with. The surroundings were relaxed and calm. The beach is close by and it is easy to get to the nearest supermarket. I loved staying here, hope to be able to go back some day.

Beautifully designed villas each with own pool. They're set right among the paddy fields and require a 5-10 min tuk tuk each time you need to get to the beach. No breakfast served on site which is a shame but sister restaurant at the beach. Good value if you fill all the villa rooms, otherwise not so much. Spacious accommodation all with huge en suites

Wundervolle Anlage. Jede Villa hat einen Pool. Es gibt einen Securityservice und das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wer Privatsphäre wünscht und einen ruhigen Ort zum entspannen, der ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Strand ist fußläufig zu erreichen (ca. 10 Minuten). Wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen.

Private pool is good advantage.

Setup is very private and great for a family overnight and even 2 families. Very much kid friendly! The private pool means you can stay as long as you like and take a dip any time you fancy. Well equipped kitchen if ur self sustaining on the meals, but if ur using the hotel restaurant, be mindful as the coordination isnt that great. And like any other boutique, staff or service availability times are limited from 8 to 8. So dont expect a sudden dinner craving to be satisfied. But the quality of food, portions and prices are pretty decent and most of the staff were very helpful. Living area is pretty warm during day, but settles down towards evening. Overall pretty decent setup and pleasing, but the few kinks I personally experienced around service, leave me at a 4 star rating.

All the staff at Goodstory we’re so sweet- the women that came to clean did the most amazing job every single time, seriously impressive, helpful and adorable.the pool guys and the darling old gardener were also so so friendly, respectful, and kind.always considerate.
Everything functioned perfectly and thanks to Nafas the villa manager any issue Would be addressed immediately- an absolute legend that has continued to provide local support and has become a great friend during and since.

You should absolutely stay at this amazing place. Stylish rooms, super nice staff, full equipped kitchen. I was very very happy with my stay and I would very recommend this place. I travel a lot around the world and I definitely can say I will come back!

The chillest spot in all of the south coast, 5 min walk from the Kabalana beach you got your own hideout in the jungle. With a pool, open plans and high ceilings is easy to forget the outside worldwide and relax.

Probably one of the best places I've stayed at South coast of Sri Lanka. The Villages are new, very clean and looks really lovely!

To cut long story short- it was really good!

Beautiful and comfortable villas in Sri Lanka. This place will make your vacation unforgettable.
Here you can have sunbathe naked, because the territory is private or chill near the pool and arrange amazing dinner for friends. I feel like at home, as in one of the best homes. I here for a month already and don’t want to leave at all.
