GREEN HEAVEN HOTEL

I regret to share my unsatisfactory experience with hotel Green Heaven, Meetiyagoda.

We did a reservation for our wedding and paid an advance of Rs. 25000. However, circumstances forced us to cancel the reservation, more than six months prior to the event. We didn't get any service from the hotel and despite the considerable notice, the hotel did not see fit to refund any portion of our payment.

The lack of flexibility exhibited by the hotel is utterly disappointing.

We wouldn’t recommend Hotel Green Heaven based on their rigid policies and lack of customer-centric approach.

Food is very bad. Food is full of Aji-no-moto and can feel it in whole day after take it. Can see the most of the food in garbage because taste is very bad.
Service is also not very good.
Better to get a written confirmation of the rates and charges because they tend to change their rates after u have booked the date

The best reception hall in the area with exceptional quality meals and ample parking. The staff is friendly unlike most of the places I have been to. Would definitely recommend to anyone to have their functions at a reasonable price.

We had our wedding in this wedding hall.it's newly built.hall is very spacious and beautiful.their flower arrangements and poruwa set up are also eye catching.they have a huge parking space.food was also delicious.but the serving staff was not enough for the function.be careful when you discuss their terms and conditions with them.we were really dissapointed since they mention their hall charges day before our wedding.previously they did not inform us regarding this.even in the leaflet given by them does not include a clue about this.when we first contact the hotel we said our guest count is 130-140 and they agree for that crowd.they did not mention any additional hall charge or did not increase plate charge either for that crowd.so we paid advance and later we increase our crowd upto 150 and discuss everything with the manager.that time also he did not mention any hall charge.due to suddenly imposed curfew we inform the hotel that our crowd will be little less than 150 and ask the hotel to ready for 125-130 crowd to avoid material wastage.we did the full payment on that day.that time they mention 40000 rupees hall charge and they said they will do some reduction after the final plate count.since initially they agreed for the 130 crowd without mentioning any hall charge we refuse to pay 40000rupees.our final plate count was 135 after the wedding and we asked for the hall charge negotiation which they refused to do.they cunningly add the whole amount (40000rupees) to the final bill even they agreed to do some reduction after the wedding.even if we pay for that 15plates its is less than this hall charge.there were no material wastage since we informed our guest count prior.they have reduced the staff also.it was greatly affected to our function.it is so unfair for them to ask this type of hall charge and also they have circulated wrong information regarding the payments to our visitor.so be careful if you choose this hotel.its better to discuss everything prior and have written evidence since they change their statements later.keep voice records as much as possible and also be careful when you give raw matetials to them.if you can over come those issues otherwise venue is good for indoor functions. To introduce ourselves both of us are professionals working as a doctor and engineer.since they have shared wrong information among our visitors it slightly damaged our reputation also.

Visit there for first time to book the hall for my wedding function. Well maintained place, well organized, clean and clear newly built place. Management will guide you to select best packages and make arrangements relevant to your function. Around 350 people can be accommodate in the place.
