Green Villa

We booked a deluxed room. It was nice and clean. However we did'nt satisfy with the service. The person who we think is the manager was not nice.

Very comfy and clean room with good airco and very friendly staff. Good quality price! Good quite location

Very hospitable hosts, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is quiet, despite the fact that it is located in a busy area.

It's far from the beach. You have to take the inconvenience of passing through a restaurant on the beach to get there quickly. Also, it is a guest house that is used with a house. It reaches the room through a shared garden. The owner's unwelcome attitude and service confuse the identity of this place. There are facilities like a hotel, but it looks like a homestay or a guest houses. The staff here are kind. But we don't want to recommend this place.

The owner who lacks the spirit of service, the only Sri Lankan accommodation without welcome tea, the unkind and rude female owner, the unkindness of not greeting, and the greedy style that only knows money, so I don't want to recommend it. It can be said to be an arrogant and stupid sample of the rich in Sri Lanka.

The Hotel itself is well located relatively near to Unawatuna beach. It is surrounded by a looked after garden. That made a good first impression. We took one of the rooms in the ground floor. It was probably well constructed, since it is very spacious and has nice built in furniture, but definitely not well maintained! The room is entered by a loggia and does not have any other windows that can be opened. Therefore it smelled and was really moldy. We could just sleep there because we had incense sticks to neutralize the disgusting smell of the room. In addition the room wasn't cleaned before our arrival, we saw a lot of dead insects. The AC was also not really working.
The staff was very cold and did not really care about anything. After we complained about the mold in the room they cancelled our reservation on booking.com so we could not leave a bad review.

Nice place for living. It’s like a small temple - quite (just at night), clean and friendly. Lots of plants and trees in the garden.

Large rooms, very good bathroom with refilled gel, shampoo, conditioner. You can use also kettle to make instant coffee or tee. And a bottle of still water in the room for free.

You can scan qr code on the reception desk to join to Wi-Fi. But connection is poor, most time disappeared.

Loose sockets, part of them can not hold plugs properly.

If you decided to pay by card for your room - you’ll have to pay 3% more.

It's nice for a short stay on a budget. Close to the beach. The garden is really nice and calm.

Perfectly located in a cool hip side street with plenty of shops and cafes leading straight to Unawatuna beach. This place was excellent for NYE as we were close to the beach but far enough not to hear the music when we called it quits! Room was well furnished, nicely decorated and the garden/common area was very well kept. Staying here contributed to Unawatuna being my favourite place yet in Sri Lanka!

They asked me to cancel my reservation 10 days before arrival. It is impossible for me to find something similar now. Moreover, I can only cancel by paying the full amount so it seems that they have no idea how internet bookings work.

The common areas are lovely and it's great sitting out and just chilling for a while.
The rooms are relatively clean, but we found a spider which wasn't good. Cleaning staff killed and took it away.
Besides that the sheets are clean and the bathroom is well maintained.

Just a note, the pictures they put up represent a false narrative, the rooms don't look as stunning, but the common areas do

Nice hotel, very cool room and friendly staff. The only thing to improve in room 6 is the AC, which didn't make much difference to the temperature.

The positive was that the breakfast was fresh. However, since it is strictly B&B water was not provided with breakfast. Manager and housekeeper seemed nonchalant. Manager was unavailable most of the time. The bathroom was not properly working especially the showers. Also cleanliness was a huge issue. Poor services for the price we paid.
