Hikka Resort reviews
12Best place to hang around with 20 pax. Big living area and 7 rooms with a medium size pool. Peaceful environment
Amazing Villa from great Company Hikka Villas. We stayed here for a few days and it was a perfect place to spend holiday with children. Nice, big pool, very big house with TV, AC and gorgeous kitchen. Every room has its own bathroom with shower and toilet. The place was clean and everything was working. I can recommend the chef - Nina. She is a great person and took care of us for our whole stay at HikkaVillas. She cooked us breakfast and dinner and cleaned the place sometimes. Thank you very much for everything. HikkaVillas are great option in Hikkaduwa. Thanks Chanaka, Nina and whole HikkaVillas team.
We stayed in this villa for 10 days from 16 Jan til 26 Jan! It is a very good villa! Everything is work and corresponds to the description! We will definitely come back to this amazingly beautiful place.
We lived here with friends for one month. The villa is very large, cats live on the territory. Everything was good except for some problems. For about a week, many sockets in the whole house did not work for us, because the electricity meters were faulty, in the end this problem was solved, but not quickly. One week they cleaned the pool very badly and the water was so cloudy that none of us wanted to swim there, we wrote to the manager about it every day, but the pool cleaner was in no hurry to fix it. In one of the rooms, the boiler was not repaired for the whole month a. A woman chef is not as simple as it might seem at first glance, her services are not expensive, but when she buys food for dinner, she overcharges and cooks, by the way, not tasty. And once she came without permission, when no one asked her about it. It is better to buy fresh shrimp and fish in the market (800 meters from the villa), ask the manager for a grill and cook your own dinner. The best food in Hikkaduwa was the one we cooked ourselves. Many cafes here are disgusting.for a month of living in a villa, we got an additional $ 450 for the light, it is paid separately, keep in mind.
In general, Hikkaduwa did not live up to my expectations, and this Villa with its beautiful grounds and pool brightened up the whole holiday. By the way, a wonderful gardener works there, who brought me peeled coconuts that fell right in the yard. And the manager was also very kind despite the difficulties. But if I go to Sri Lanka again, I will choose Unawatuna for my vacation.
A place built focusing foreigners. This place has 6 or 7 rooms. The master bedroom is spacious and it's built for couples since it has a fully visible modern bathroom with a huge bathtub. You won't get a room like this even if you visit a nice hotel in Sri Lanka. Other rooms are also above normal. Overall had a great experience. But the downside is some of small things need a renovation like living room A/C or some of the Commode. You can get a cook here but "she" cannot be recommend. Overall very spacious here. Everything you need is here, like a kitchen, washing machine, 2 fridges, 2 living room areas on both floors, a small play area for kids and a long balcony. Additionally they'll provide WiFi. Another plus is it's 6 minutes to Hikkaduwa town. Also owner is very friendly.
Very nice place for family and friends. Clean and spacious. However lacks parking space within the compound which hinders access especially for elderly.
This place is simply great, had a wonderful time there. Very friendly staff and service, highly recommended
Great place. Booked this via AirBnB. Perfect for a big group. We stayed with another family for a total of 9 people and we had more than enough room for everyone. The property has a very good sized swimming pool.
There's an option for a housekeeper to cook your meals according to your instructions who would also happily shop for all the ingredients. She will also do your laundry. Great not to have to worry about cooking on holiday.
The property is not that close to beaches but you could easily get a tuk tuk to take you there which takes about 10 minutes. Tuk tuks cost from USD1.50 to USD2.50.
There are a few restaurants in town that provides a wide variety local and international food at reasonable prices.
This is the best villa I have been to. Wow! What an amazing place it is. They maintain it so clean, and ask for anything you will have it. Big rooms, clean out door and a wonderful swimming pool. They clean the pool everyday, maintain the water clean, and clean the villa on demand too. They have a cook who can give you Sri Lankan food, the supervisor is so helpful and ask for anything he helps out. They also have cab to pick you from and drop at airport. They also have decent priced packages to take you to different places for sight seeing. The owner is a down to the earth person and he visits everyday to ask for any issues we may have and he solves if any too. I would give a top rating to this place and to the owners. It was an amazing stay at this place for 5 days with my family and friends. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who wants a lavish, pleasant stay.
We had a fantastic stay at Hikka Resort. We were 2 families including 2 kids who visited and stayed in this property - 26th April to 30th April. The villa is grand, with lovely and well kept rooms. The private pool was the place the kids wanted to be all the time while in the villa! The villa had everything one would need. This is a 6 bed room property but we needed only 3 rooms and the owner - Mr. Chanaka gave us the entire villa at a discounted price - this made the stay even more pleasant.
Mr. Isru (the manager) took extremely good care of us and was very prompt whenever we had any issue/problem or needed something.
All in all, a memorable experience we had in Sri Lanka and the stay at this lovely property, was a big reason to that.

Me & my family stayed at Hikka Resort for 3 nights from July 17 to 20th July 2017 and was so happy with this hidden luxurious villa and the area. Extremely family friendly - gorgeous architectural structure of the house, A beautiful relaxing, modern & large swimming pool in the Villa, beaches and surroundings. This property is very spacious with comfortable beds and everything you could need in the villa. The staff at Hikka Resort were amazing: Mr. Chanaka Warusavithana & his staff (Isurange & Dhanushke) was so polite and helpful and remembered all the things we asked for. We booked this property in advance last year 2016 and we have been impressed with their service during our stay. A very trustworthy brand and I would have no reservations in recommending Hikka Villas to all my friends. Thank you Hikka Resort. Surely will return back once again.
