Hotel Susantha Garden

Very helpful staff. Nice family room and fantastic food. Next to the train station, which we knew. You will hear it.

Some rooms do not have sufficient Wi-Fi signal and may have mosquito nets on the windows. There has been some power outage (something widespread in the country). Otherwise, very good hotel. Good location, price, magnificent pool and hot water. They even gave us a free foot massage. 100% recommended.

The noise of the train is horrible, and it is full of mosquitos, for sure you will get dengue here

Didn't stay there, so can't tell much about the rooms. But the restaurant is great. Friendly staff, affordable prices, excellent food

I still cant believe that they charge so much for such a disguisting old hotel. The rooms are very small with old furniture, they are not cleaned well. Pool and sunbeds are unfortunately entirely in the shadow, they gave us towels for the pool, which is nice, however they were very old and smelled horribly. Food in the restaurant was very average, we also had a glass of wine for 650rs which was stale.

Des öfteren haben wir schon im susanthas residiert, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich wohl im susanthas.wir hatten ein superior zimmer mit Meerblick, das im Moment etwas eingeschränkt ist wegen einer Baustelle, die Massagen im ayurveda Bereich waren klasse und der Doktor dort ist ein Segen, er hilft sofort bei jeden wehwehchen, wir kommen gerne wieder

Every time I visit Sri Lanka I spend a few days in the Susantha Garden Hotel. It's a beautiful small hotel with a well cleaned pool and a really good restaurant. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are clean. The railway is directly infront of the hotel so it can become much loud sometimes. For me this was never a problem. You can reach the beach within 1 minute. 5

Zum Hotel kann ich nichts sagen, allerdings zum Restaurant und zwar dass es toll war. Wir hatten eine Pizza und ein Curry und beides war sehr lecker. Abends war auch ne band zum spielen da; alles in allem ein toller abend

Wir waren zwar nur einige Male zum Essen im Susantha, können dieses Restaurant jedoch nur jedem empfehlen! Riesen grosse Auswahl an Speisen und auch das Personal ist überaus kompetent und freundlich!

Nettes Restaurant und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Das Essen ist gut. Preis / Leistung passt.

Food Service was damn slow here. Despite the restaurant being not that full initially around 8.00 PM on a Sunday evening. There were only 2 guys managing the while show in terms of taking kitchen orders, getting food delivered to the table including bills. Any follow-up like spoons, sauces, plates and water etc itself was taking lot of time. Food taste was still good specially the Veg Grilled Pizza and Margaritas. Veg Soups we also fine so was Egg Rice but yeah too us more than 2 hours minimum to dine with lot of interruptions.
