Ivy Lane Galle Fort

The Ivy Lane at the Galle Fort made it a perfect start to 2024 for me. Nestled in the ramparts of a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Ivy Lane is an oasis of tranquility married with plush elegance. The rooms, courtyard and every inch of the hotel is done up tastefully, and true to its name, the “ivy” on the walls gives the hotel a distinctively Mediterranean atmosphere. The amazing guest experience, and top location made it an ideal place to stay at. It was a short stay for me but, I know that I’m coming here again soon! Highly recommended if you are traveling to Galle - Sri Lanka.

Our experience at Ivy Lane Hotel in Galle Fort was exceptional. The room was very clean and extremely comfortable, making our stay very relaxing. The staff stood out with their friendliness and helpfulness.

Although the breakfast has room for improvement, it was very tasty and satisfying. The hotel's location within the Galle Fort is its crowning feature, offering a unique charm and easy access to the area's historical sites.

What a cozy and intimate property! My friends and I stayed at the Ivy Lane for my birthday eve with a last minute reservation and the owner accommodated us open handedly!

The service was top notch, the staff were extremely cooperative to all our requests and the interior+architecture was incredibly romantic. We absolutely loved the tiny details in the design the property had and speaking to the owner, I could tell she put her heart into building the inn. It honestly was incredible!

I look forward to staying here with more friends from back home whenever I visit Galle again.

I stayed at Ivy Lane recently. It has been one of the most accommodation experiences ever, from all the different places I've stayed at around the world. The rooms are beautiful and clean and have all the amenities you need. The service was above par and the location is great. You can walk to any of several restaurants, the lookout spot over the ocean, shops, galleries and coffee/ice cream. This is THE place to stay at when you visit beautiful Galle Fort.

We loved staying here, beautiful hotel in the middle of Galle Fort. The bathroom was amazing and everything was new. The bed was so so comfy and we got complimentary robes which just added to the comfort! AC and a fan meaning you very quickly cool down after being in the very hot sun, and near to absolutely everything in the fort, would 100% recommend and stay again if we are there again

No value for money. It's a new place with good intentions, but in reality too many things are not quite there. Prices are super expensive in light of the no-value. I won't dive into specifics, but this hotel has a long way to go in order to become worthy. Potential exists.

Everything was amazing! This hotel is a piece of art! Everyone is very nice and helpful and welcomes you with a big smile. The music played in the reception area whole day.long adds so much charm to the ambiance. I hope to come back there soon!

We had an incredible stayed before one week at Ivy Lane Galle Fort Hotel, the hotel is so beautiful and the design is unique. All the staff were so friendly, warm and welcoming. A special thanks to Nilanka who looked after us so attentively. Nice and sweet breakfast include to room rate and they deliverd it nicely to our tabel. Thank you and we really hope to return one day come to Sri lanka and back in to the South.

I went to galle few days ago with my parents and stayed at Ivy lane, Galle Fort for one night. It was amazing. The place is super clean, very spacious and so cosy. Perfect for a getaway from the busy lives here in colombo. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was decent! Had a great stay! Highly recommended!
