Food passable. Service ok. Atmosphere beautiful. Beachfront place with a really nice vibe.

Overall very mediocre. We ate much tastier soup and shrimp in a small cafe. And the price is %30 lower. Very long service. If there are no seats on the veranda, then there is nothing to do there at all. Smells in the hall. We waited for the bill for about 15 minutes. Then the change for 3000 ₽ took another 15 minutes. Until they caught the eldest and demanded it. Brought it and says sorry, the cashier made a mistake.

Food was good and view, just spectacular, especially in the evening and being right on the beach. Tables available outdoor right on the beachfront on a raised area. Service a little slow as was very busy. No AC or fan inside to quite hot and sticky. Overall a very enjoyable meal and would return again. Prices a little on the high side, but normal for the area.

Nice view. Bad food. I ordered a shark steak which tasted like sugar. Cocktail tastes like sugar. And yes, veggies that came with all this sugar were carrots and potatoes.

Cosy restaurant near the hikkaduwa beach with amazing delicious food and beverages a definite visit when you are in Hikka. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. Only small issue was no debit or credit cards were accepted

It was an ok experience. Nothing crazy. I ordered the devilled king prawns and they were definitely not king size. Absolutely tiny. So be careful of that.

Very good food and fair prices. We went there twice and would definitely come back. The service was also nice and fast.

Food is always good at JLH, service is good, the only criticism i have is sometimes the wine is not very good.

We had Fish and Mixed Chopsy here and it was really good, there is good view to enjoy while you wait for your food to arrive and it wasn't crowded at the time of our visit.

Went today order some meal to dine in with my friends. When we asked them, they said their tables are all filled when we can clearly see there are so many tables left. Think they judge people by how they wear and appearance. Next time if you want to dine in, make sure to go to the place by car. They only serve that kind of people. Not who comes to the restaurant on foot while wearing shorts and slippers. Never ever gonna put my foot in this restaurant again.

The place is good to catch up with your loved ones.cozy place. Foods were delicious. Although they don't have card payments. They should think about that. If not customers may face some problems.

Amazing sea food. Courteous and smiling staff. It's a must go place in Hikkaduwa. We are in Hikkaduwa for 3 days and have visited this place for almost all our meals.

The view is awesome. This is literally on the edge of the beach and you can enter the restaurant from the beach too. They offer candlelight dining at night and it's a wonderful experience.
Service is also nice and there's nothing to complain.

A lovely place, practically at the edge of the ocean. The view is magnificent. The place is just off the Galle Road. Good variety of food, which is full of flavour. The staff is friendly and the service is reasonably efficient.

Checked in at 9pm. Very warm and friendly welcome by the the owner Jayalath. Beach front property with a nice restaurant. Turtles and surfing right next to it.

A nice beach restaurant tucked away behind the main road. Food was good and the portions were big. We had the tempurada prawns, the calamari and the rice and curry and all were very tasty. Prices are a bit more expensive than other restaurants but in line with most of the beach locations. The menu is massive! Staff are nice and friendly. Recommended.
