Kat's Coffee reviews
30 Excellent! Coffee
Great porridge and good breakfast with homemade bread.
That was the surprise of the day
Thanks Kat!
It was a very good find. The flat white coffee and cakes are delicious. It was also very lovely to chat with Kat. We really liked the place and its atmosphere.
I was super happy to find good coffee near our house! Coffee was tasty, thank you the interior is cozy, the place is clean and the bonus is several adorable cats that can keep you company I will definitely come back and try sandwiches
Very nice place, I had the best coffee on the island here! Staff is very friendly! Totally recommend!
Einer der besten Kaffees in Sri Lanka, wirklich sehr leckerer Cappuccino.
Gemütliche und entspannte Location.
Service, Bedienung sehr freundlich und die Besitzerin ist auch sehr nett.
Had a little lunch stopover there. The chai was good, the service really friendly. Meal (quesadilla was ok, but in general it was one of the priciest place so far with none special quality. The athmosphere wasn’t that friendly as expected.
Ich liebe das Café! ️
Super leckeres Essen, guter Kaffee, tolle Location und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter.
Komme immer wieder gerne zurück!?
Delicious, freshly prepared food and drink. Lovely relaxing atmosphere, the cats were lovely, especially Jimmy. Tea cake was excellent.
Found Kat’s Coffee whilst on our way to the beach… stopped for flat white and late (double shot) and both were excellent and we also shared a sandwich as we hadn’t had breakfast and it was too early for lunch! There was a big group having food when we arrived but we were greeted with a friendly smile and we were served immediately…,
Added bonus for me were the cats…all very friendly lounging around in the shade keeping cool - not bothered by us so if you are not a ‘cat fan’ don’t be put off as the coffee and service is great ~ thank you…
Kat‘s Coffee was and still is THE place to go if you want to enjoy the best coffee on the island. Huge variety in the coffee menu and additionally other drinks as well. Cakes are always on point and yummy. Loving the new food options! Sitting, relaxing, reading in the garden is simply a bliss. Will forever come back here!
The best place to order a cake for a birthday party in the south. Never disappoints. Highly recommended!
Homemade cakes, good coffee. Need I say more? Definitely worth a stop for a caffeine and sugar refill
Lovely place with a sweet garden to sit and enjoy excellent coffee and fantastic home made bread/sandwiches. Nice atmosphere, you feel immediately like at home.
. Quiet, serene environment.perfect coffee/drinks. We ordered a cheesecake which was absolutely by far the best/awesome cheesecake we've (probably) ever had.friendly/inviting staff (Kat herself included.) - really recommended.
Hands down the best coffee and sandwiches I've had in Sri Lanka. Open through low season, carrot cake is also banging
Ooh that was the best capucino we had in Sri Lanka. They have sri lankas beans and the taste is amazing. I also have to say they know how to make the real creamy capucino.
Great coffee and oatmeal. This is truly a great place to enjoy a delicious espresso and snack. Kat's coffee offers breakfast options like oatmeals or sandwiches but also cakes. Besides that, the service is great!
I loved the cranberry vanilla oatmeal with fruits!
Nice grilled sandwich with eggplant. Tea Cake a little dry and didn't taste like tea. I think lady miss explain it.
Good clean european place with awesome coffee. Make sure to wear t-shirt as they ask to put something on if you come in the swim suite
Seeing as this is one of the only cafes with air conditioning in the Galle area, I figured Kats coffee would be nomad friendly, but I was mistaken.
Only an hour after ordering our coffee and sandwich, the boss lady began asking us if we wanted anything else. She also told me I was talking too loudly on the phone, even though there was no one else in the cafe and I was talking at a normal indoor level.
On top of that there is no WiFi here, and the coffee is meh at best.
Won’t be returning and do not recommend this spot for nomads.
