We chanced upon this wonderful jewellery shop after picking up a coffee and I am
So glad we did! From the moment we walked in the staff couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome and give us the best advice. I wanted a small sapphire embedded into an existing ring and both my partner and I chose simple sapphire wedding rings. The wonderful team went above and beyond to help me select the right thing for me, despite me wanting to try a million things! They weren’t pushy at all, the prices were very reasonable and the quality of the final ring was impeccable. There are so many jewellery shops in this area you could easy feel lost where to go, I can highly recommend Lanka Gems and have even taken their details to consider getting more items made and sent to the UK.

We went to a store with my family while walking around the fort. The owner of the store talked to us, showed many examples of their products, after which we chose a modern design earrings, composition of stones and gold probe for ordering. The manufacturing took 3 days, the result was excellent and the price was valuable.

We entered this shop a bit by chance to get information to have my wife's lost solitaire redone. The sellers were listening to redo this ring according to our request. The result is up to our expectations. We are pleased!

We came across this shop while walking by the fort. Mr Iflal was very professional and kind. We also had the pleasure of meeting his wife and the two made us feel like family. The pendant and ring I bought from them look beautiful. Very well made and it took Mr Iflal only one day to get these two things done. I would definitely recommend this store and I look forward to ordering more things from there.

We discovered this shop last year on our trip and they custom made the most beautiful moonstone pendant in rose gold. I was even able to visit the room where the jewelry is made in the back of the shop. This year, I asked them to recreate a topaz pendant in a special cut - based on an image I sent via Whatsapp. They did an amazing job. I’ll definitely buy from them again in the future!

One of the best in Sri Lanka for Gems and Jewellery. They got a Jewellery factory which is awesome to have a custom made pendant/earring/ring for yourself. Genuine friendly management and price is reasonable.

Visited this outlet 8 months back. Bought a stunning ring with blue sapphire, a necklace for myself and a lovely pair of earrings for my mum. My ring was designed by me with the assistance of the very friendly owners and I loved watching the finishing touches of my ring at the factory. The price was quite reasonable and the staff was very helpful and professional. They have a stunning collection of both gems and unique jewellery. Would definitely love to visit again. I recommend this place

Fantastic place! Friendly staff and had a great collection of jewellery and gems too. Prices were quite reasonable and we had the freedom of choosing what we love. We were not forced or pressurised with the stuff. They helped us choose jewellery of our price range. The most important highlight was that they certified each item we bought from them. Visited their store somewhere in 2019. I got myself a customized ring made at their factory and since we were flying the day after, they were ready to deliver my ring. Although the ring was customized, it turned out to be fabulous! Would definitely get in touch with Lanka Gems And Jewellery for any of my future jewellery needs.

Did not have a good experience buying from them and was overcharged. I have bought a 0.3 caret unheated pink sapphire for 58000 rupees plus white gold chain, custom made into a bracelet. The colour of the gem was good but it was too small to be charged this price after doing some research.

When I received the finished product, I can tell that the job was rushed and they did not fit the gem properly. It was slanted and the chain was dull. They also put a link that is way too small for the bracelet to even be linked up. They did rework to make it look better but the shop owner later told us that the rock is only worth 0.35 carat x 91500 rupees, which means he charged us 200USD for a shared chain between me and my friend.

Shop elsewhere have quoted me a better price with an offer to further lower the price. For the quality of the job it is definitely not worth the higher price we have paid.

The best place to buy good jewellery in Sri Lanka, the staff is very very nice, and the atention in the shop was amazing, the quality of the stones is really good, i will buy again.
