Lavendish Beach Resort

Staff was always friendly. Quiet and very good place to stay. Clean Comfortable rooms. Simple but great breakfast. Highly recommended️

Great place. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and the food is just freakin' awesome. Overall 10/10

We arrived and they we're full so they placed us in another hotel right next to them (Hotel Happy Night, which was very nice, for one night). The next day they say they have a room for us and that we can stay with them for the next four nights. The room was horrible, tucked away with no sea view (as they advertise), super noisy AC and fridge and neighbours partying and playing loud music outside our door as we had no private balconys, and Lavendish still charged us as much as a room with a balcony and sea view. We stayed for one night until we couldn't take it no more and said we wanted to change room. This was impossible we were told, as we already paid for the 4 nights and of course they were full. We paid by card and if we had paid cash we could get money back, but they never informed us we couldn't get money back paying with card! We even showed on their website the price for a room with balcony and sea view and the manager admitted to have overcharged us. He then said we could write a letter (like a hand written letter) to try to claim some money back but there was no guarantee. We went to Happy Night instead staying there for our remaining three nights and got no money back from Lavendish but it was still worth it as the price is about the same and the quality much higher!

It was very basic hotel which was actually on beach but near the beach. The price is too high for the rooms they have. Better hotels can be booked with lower price in that area. AC was okay. Atmosphere was very dull.

The hotel is worst service ever. Don’t waste your energy and time here nothing is going to work. Food is ok. The air conditioning doesn’t work change two rooms in one day. The bathroom is leaking with water all over the washroom. PLEASE Don’t Come to this hell.

Very famous hotel in downsouth and it is located in unawatuna in front of the beach. It have banquet halls. Most important thing is it's food is very tasty and clean. Also it has vehicle park

To start with its near a beach.and not a beach resort.we had been booked through Daya tours and Traveltriangle in this hotel. This hotel doesn't have lift.very dirty and non functional AC.and broken taps, stinking rooms and no WIFI. And when we were complaining the manager instead of talking to us to understand the challenge.told our driver ask them to leave and go away.as we don't understand his body language.say no to Lavendish Beach resort.

Did not like the place at all. The dinner was cold and dinning room didnt have air conditioning and inspite of telling the staff didnt turn it on.dont know if it was not working.

A medium level conference and wedding hall. A special sign to be seen in this hotel and most Hotels is they couldnt tally the sanitary area as per other areas.

Very close to the beach.walking distance.but there isn't any direct sea view. Hotel amenities are average.

Beach hotel located near unawatuna beach.overall service is good but foods are not good. Rooms also not good.

It's a grt resort with all the facilities equiped in it like swimming pool. Pool table carom and you can enjoy yourself with a grt meal they provide.
Staff is very cooperative ready to help you in any way they can it's a grt time being there.
They give me the room 215 that I will Highly recommend as it has the best view in entire resort and one of the best room in entire resort

Lovely large room, nice and cool. Kind staff nice pool. Even reminded us the about the breakfast included with the room in the morning

High qulity rooms and other facilities as well as a very friendly staff. Nice veiw of the beech in the morning and good value for the money
