6 If you are in balipitya or anywhere down south from galle upto ahungulla you should try this.
You can learn a lot about mangroves and how they form an ecosystem which provides us with a lot of essentials like cinnamon, honey etc.
Also how their preservation is necessary for avoiding flooding.
It's usually a 1.5 hr ride.they'll take you around several spots in the river.lots of birds around.u can also spot the black Sri Lankan monkey. If u r lucky, on a sunny day, you may even spot an odd croc or a monitor lizard. Very rare tho.
Do not buy anything while you r on d river.do take the demo where they'll show u how cinnamon is made.
Do not go for the fish massage. You can do without it.
Wonderful experience. Food and hospitality are the best. Also kayaking, archery, shooting activities are very exciting and enjoyable too.
What a mesmerizing moments we had spend there. Hospitality 100%. Food 100%. Recommending to anyone who want to spent a fabulous time with friends and family.
The river has 35 Island and lots and lots of mangrove including the mangrove tunnel. The river cruise take us to all the parts of the river and the best view you get when you get the view of river meeting the Indian Ocean. All together a good ride if you are in the vicinity

It was a really nice experience. Kayaking is the best experience we got from their and they taught us quickly, how to handle the boat.
Snacks also delicious and can recommend the place for family/ friends get together.
