Great place to stay in Hikkaduwa! Best seafood in Hikkaduwa for sure. The friendly service and very calm vibe.

We had dinner at Crismus, there were no people (the waiters are responsive, they are trying to learn Russian! Prices are high

What a shame.we used to stop here everytime we went passed.this place was one of the nicest places to go to in hikkaduwa.now it looks cheep.all the lovely old world charm has been replaced by the cheapest of cheapest furniture decor hand written signs the tea cups didn't even have matching saucers, everything about the place was cheep, just don't be fooled by the very welcoming trendy entrance.you will only be dissapointed. At least the toilets were sort of clean.

Best live music I have been to in a long while, I have been traveling around south east Asia since Jan and honestly no vibe compares to here the music gave me goose bumps. We had a really great night! On the beach front so there’s a nice breeze if you get a bit hot on the dance floor. Definitely recommend stopping by here for a boogie, there is something for everyone!

I bought a tuna salad, I've probably never had a worse dish. The only thing fresh was the lettuce leaves. The tuna stinks, the tomatoes are rotten. They also charged me 1200 rupees.

What a shame this place used to be buzzing, its old world charm, the super atmosphere, great food, a bar, great service, a well stocked up bar, such wonderful old world charm and comfortable furniture.
NOW NOTHING EVERYTHING LOOKS CHEEP THE BAR IS GONE, ALL THE GREAT ART AND FURNITURE HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH HOME MADE ITEMS, AND SUCH BAD BAD BAD BAD TASTE. EVEN THE CUPS AND SAUCERS FIDNT MATCH. THE DECORE IS SO SLAPDASH, EVEN THE TAPS IN THE REST ROOM IS NOT PROPERLY FIXED.

I'LL NEVER GO AGAIN, NOR WILL I RECOMMEND IT.

We had several wonderful sundowners here on our recent trip to Hikkadua, plus a fabulous evening with live music. Cannot recommend enough - simply stunning views!

Didn't stay here, stopped by for lunch. Ordered the seafood platter. Quite expensive and absolutely not worth for LKR 7000. Two tiny softshell crabs that smelled off. One largish freshwater prawn. And two to three measly pieces of calamari and prawns. Not recommended at all.

They have very bad service. Takes ages to make food. They almost took 1.5 hours for us. Not recommended. Have few parkings which is the only good thing and the view is also nice.

We stayed here for a drink. The place was tired and not so clean. The service was slow and not so friendly. The drink itself was not good, either. I do not think we will be back.

The rooms are not cleaned and the charges for the rooms are quit expensive which won't match to the standard of the price. Some rooms locks are not working properly and some are broken. When it comes to the food it's so expensive and won't worth for the prices. Additionally they took so long to serve them and it's not hot and not yummy. It's a waste of money. The view of the ocean is good which is the only advantage in this hotel.

The restaurant gives a beautiful view of the ocean. The food was a bit pricey but they are really yummy.

I went to smoke shisha on a night. And had a cocktail too. I love this place a lot because the view and the breeze is just awesome

Bit pricey, but food was okay and was delivered fast. Sunset view is nice and considering this the prices are okay.

Don't be fooled, the good reviews are for their restaurant. Staff seem nice and helpful there, but I didn't eat in to recommend it, only had some (expensive) beers. My review is for a hotel room at Mamas. There's no hot water, says it all. Don't assume there's any, check for hot water before you move your bags in the room. Be aware of the street noise. And the beach in the area is useless, as it' s dirty, with boats and engine bad smells all over the place. This place is in desperate need of a full renovation.

Food was good. It is beachfront so the view is awesome. They took ages to deliver our order. Service was average. They do not accept card payments.

Unfortunately our bedsheets were dirty, the light in the bathroom was not working and we found a cockroach on the bed pillow. However we got our money back when we complained. Anyhow, no recommendation from my side even with the low price in mind.

Remark: In my opinion the hotel and the restaurant should be separated. I cannot give any feedback regarding the restaurant since we I did not have a meal there. Some of the reviews seem to be focused on the restaurant.
