Manik Villa

We have been few weeks ago.what the photos show in google was not the same.ex-in pool area there was a slider for children's it was super dirty.and the BBQ machine was full of stain.and also we have found some used pan's in the kitchen not been washed which means so careless once before someone check in as a owner they have to check everything but they don't.even they didn't have a look i thing.they just borrow money and handover to us.and there was a notice in the walls regarding the pool i accept the rools but they don't even have a shower to take a bath once before jump in the pool.there was a shower tap near to the pool but it doesn't have water supply when we call owner to ask regarding the issue they simply say it don't have water supply.it was not satisfied for the money which we pay still we adjust everything all the rooms are smelling weird.we are the one who clean the kitchen once before we use.at the end what i'm trying to say is people's are paying money it's not for free.that's why try to have them a good experience.that's all

Absolutely amazing experience here. We stayed 4 days and could've spent another 4 quite easily. So much to do and see in the area - river tours, fishing, water sports, shopping, massage etc. Our hosts, Nalin and Deyana are so warm and friendly and cater to your every need. The villa is spacious, comfortable and has all we needed as a family of 5, including an amazing swimming pool.
Highly, highly, highly recommend!

Homily atmosphere environment in a villa by itself green surrounding close to the beach belt

We booked Manik Villa from USA by trusting owner Mr. Nalin that it's a nice place for our large family in Sri Lanka get together. While booking it was showing on website it's a entire villa per night Sri lankan Rs. 25000, he hide that his entire family live upstair and we will not able to use the entire villa. I called Mr Nalin asked for an explanation why he didn't mentioned in the advertisement about it, also we was talking before regarding that we will get the entire villa, sadly owner was so rude towards me and asked that he will not reduce any price if I dont want to stay just leave the place he will refund my advance. At that point it's too late for me to find another place to move, also my family and friends already with me to enjoy the vacation. So I ate his assault on phone and paid whole rs. 75000.
Believe me it was just the beginning of our suffering every 15-20 minute circuit breaker was tipping and electricity going, we was in dark for so long without any power. Just think house full of friends and family want to eat or listen music and power gone. This problem continued until 10pm, I called several time and at last he sent a electrician to fix the problem. Some how it fixed for the night but again started have issue next day.
Next day water stop coming while my aunt was inside washroom for a bath and waited for 30 minutes till the start the machine to pull water ready. Entire time water pressure was very low that it was like dripping.
My cousin cut her hand by broken tiles of Swimming Pool. Whole Swimming pool's tiles is broken on the corner.
At the end I finished 3 nights of nightmare and left for my trip to Yala, but this horrible place and very rude and disgraceful owner will always stay on my mind, before I trust from abroad and make booking. Please If anyone looking this place to book belive me you might will face the most unwanted place to stay in your life. While you can get really great places in Bentota area with this price range. I not sure how Malik Villa owner doing business like this way and produce tourists suffering.
