5Wonderful host, clean and spacious room. Close to the beach and railway station. We felt ourselves like at home.
Beautiful place owned by a great, welcoming and friendly family! My room was super clean and spacious with lots of natural light and the hot shower was powerful with nice big fluffy towels. I felt really safe and cared for staying here as a solo female traveller! It’s also within walking distance of the shops and railway station etc. 100% recommend
This place was immaculate! Although there is no AC, the fan was very useful and the mosquito net kept most of the baddies at bay. Some of these reviews have unrealistic expectations. Take precautions with mosquito repellent and y'all will be okay. UPDATE: I forgot to add that the location is wonderful, it's a 2 minute walk to the beach which made for an absolutely priceless vacation full of coral reef snorkeling, kayaking, and swimming with sea turtles at sunset <3 <3 <3. Again, absolutely priceless. I love Hikkaduwa!
Fantastic! Sparkling clean, spacious rooms private bathrooms and very helpful and friendly hosts! It is a small guest house, very close to the beach and railway/bus station (walking distance). It’s more peaceful than many beach places, that are just close to the noisy street. It is surrounded by a garden. The lovely hosts live in the same house and make sure you feel welcome and safe. Tried Sri Lankan breakfast - delicious and home made! Highly recommended.
