On Time Villa Unawatuna

We booked online an A/C room but when we got there there was no one. Another very arrogant foreign guest showed up to tell us 'you came in the wrong time, they are gone on holidays'. I called them and they had no clue what kind of room I booked. He hanged me up three times with no answer he just said 'five minutes'. They sent a guy who spoke any English at all, I asked him if we were going to have A/C and breakfast cos those were the only reasons we chose that place. He was just able to say 'ok ok'. He showed us a very tight room, the bathroom had sand and hair on the floor. I called them for the forth time to know if we were going to get breakfast and A/C and he said he was gonna look for the A/C remote in two or three hours. We left.

I give it a star because it won't let me set 0, no one to check in, a person shows up and doesn't speak English at all, we booked with a/c and it has no control, there probably isn't breakfast and on top of that it's super far from the beach,

The room was dirty and not ready for guests to move in.the room was on the second floor where there were no railings and fences, that is, if a child ran out of the door of the room, he could fall from the second floor.which is not safe, which is why we left immediately on the first day without spending a single night, the owner promised to return the money but then disappeared.it was a sad experience. I do not recommend these apartments.

Best stay in Sri Lanka, clean rooms and the food is amazing! Super friendly owner, who can give you a lot of information about whole Sri Lanka and helps you with anything.
We did a 3 day tour with them to Kandy and Ella. It was awesome!

On Time Villa surrounded by green lush, where you often see monkeys, peacocks and the most colorful birds.
Clean and comfortable rooms, good Asian or continental breakfast included.
Local shops are around the corner.
It's a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach and 15 minutes to Turtle beach, where you can snorkel with giant turtles. Some are at least 1 meter!

We also offer (airport) transfers, tours and motorbike rental on request.

People are super nice, breakfast was filling. Barely any modifications (if any) were needed for a vegan diet. Lunch/dinner was worth it. Beds were very clean. Great place if you have a motorbike or tuktuk because plenty of parking in this quiet area.

Clean and comfortable. People go out of their way to make your stay as good as possible. Great food! Highly recommended.
