We stayed in September 2023, a good hotel, there is a little humidity in the rooms, but with the windows open everything dries well. The rooms on the first floor have direct access to the pool, which, for a second, is always clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Simple but pretty good breakfast. The furniture in the room was a little tired, but we were returning to the hotel only to spend the night, so there were no problems.
In Bentota you can rent a scooter and explore the island)

Also next to the hotel there is the Yolki-Palki cafe, we only dined there, huge portions and only fresh food. My recommendation: grilled shrimp

Went on a much needed family vacation with 5 little kids- best hotel and service! Every buffet was amazing, the restaurant staff even asked if they could make special food for my littlest one, they brought the high chair without asking, extremely kind and accommodating! From the security guard to the pool attendants, every single staff member made it a fantastic stay! I would highly recommend it! And thanks Dilhara for your amazing customer service as well!

We stated 3 nights here with a group of 15 persons from Iran. We really had a great time there in our last days of 11 days tour in Srilanka. Rooms was clean, service was good. Great restaurant with variety of foods. They have a good pool and great beach also. I really recommend this hotel.

Overall, stay was fantastic and enjoyed the sandy beach. Their buffet offers a wide variety of cuisines, and it is delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful all the time. Easy access to the beach and the pool was super clean. The rooms have a great view of the sea. Highly recommended for a family vacation.

The balcony view was amazing. Food was quite good here. Only problem I have here is with the quality of bed/bedsheet that they had provided (below par). They had nice and big swimming pool.

The hotel is old and shabby. The rooms are quite spacious and have everything you need. Be careful with the dryer on the balcony - rust appears in the fastening areas, and drying clothes may be damaged. Not very comfortable mattresses and pillows, which, moreover, smell of dampness. There were no bathrobes and slippers in the room (later it turned out that you need to ask for them at the reception). Water doesn't drain well in the shower, so there's always a puddle on the floor. The air conditioning was not adjustable and was very noisy. Incredibly dirty curtains. Room cleaning is mediocre. There were constantly not enough towels - during cleaning they were taken away, and new ones were not provided in full or not at all. Water was provided free of charge, 2 bottles of 0.5 liters per day - and this is for two adults! There is no cooler anywhere, redneck (
There were enough sun loungers on the beach for everyone, but they were also old, heavy, and wooden. They didn’t take the mattresses away when it rained, they simply folded them so that the water would drain from them, but they still got wet inside (Local salesmen come to the beach every day: with excursions, massages, coconuts, some kind of incense. Two women were shaking with their rags for a dollar, laying them out right on the ground A man also came with an unfortunate hungry monkey, a cobra and a python. Dogs (non-aggressive) also run along the entire coast, cows graze. Garbage is everywhere, it is removed only on that part of the beach that belongs to hotel, but not too thoroughly. The sand on the beach has black stains - probably fuel. The shoes were never completely washed off.
There is nowhere to go near the hotel - cafes and restaurants are interspersed with hotels, abandoned or not. For all shopping go to Bentota, $1-2 by tuk-tuk round trip. I advise you not to buy tea and spices in souvenir shops, where they will strongly invite you - the prices there are inflated. Great selection at Nebula supermarket. Alcohol is only sold separately, in special alcohol markets, and fruit in shops (bargain, there are no prices there).
By the way, there is an alcohol market five minutes from the hotel on foot along the road to the right, towards Galle, but the choice there is less than in Bentota.
Bottom line - I don't recommend it.

Just a wonderful hotel! We stayed at this hotel in July. Despite the fact that this time is considered 'off season', the weather was just fine, it rained only a couple of times. The rooms are beautiful and cleaned daily. The food in the restaurant is quite varied, of excellent quality, a lot of fruit, everything is ripe. The views are simply breathtaking. If you want to swim, you can walk a little to the left, there is a small bay. A very cool man works, a coach, he organized volleyball for us and helped in the gym. Everything is great, would come back again.

Of the minuses: terrible humidity, all things are always wet and stuck on the beach, but they can simply be ignored.

The room was very good, we were pleasantly surprised when some of our standard rooms were upgraded to luxurious Royal suite rooms.

We stayed in this hotel for our first anniversary and I must highlight that their service is next level. From the security officer to gentleman who is cleaning room are so welcoming and always filled with smile. Special thanks to Mr Dilhara who helped us from the beginning. And rest of the team, thank you you are so magical and your smile, hospitality made our stay so special.

The location is a superb place for beach lover. It's not a crowded place so you can enjoy your stay very peacefully.

We came here by checking all other reviews and I can gurantee that yes all those positive reviews are true and we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel.

One of my best experience in Srilanka, the hotel location is super, the staff is very friendly, the property has spa, swimming pool for adults and swimming pool for children, my overall experience is great and recommended

Amazing property it is on the beach front! Friendly staff. The rooms are in a nice location where you can have an view of sea and pool. You can dip in the sea and get in to pool after taking a 2 minute walk and the place is well maintained.

Very comfortable hotel. We stayed there one week. Very good foood. But the service was not good. Had call again and again for them to send house keeping. It was a bummer.

I am currently staying at this hotel and can't wait to write a review. We drove with my daughter on May 5 - it is considered that it is not the season. Immediately I was very surprised and pleased with the view from the reception - the raging ocean is very close! We were seated quickly on the first floor. The room is average, you can find flaws, but overall it's good. The view when you leave the room is just amazing! The constant sound of the ocean - I really like it. The waves are always big now, if you swim, then step aside to the stones. There aren't too many people, so it's quiet and peaceful! Breakfast and dinner are very good, you can always eat very tasty) at dinner there is a choice of both European and local cuisine (spicy), very tasty pineapples, pastries and ice cream! Drinks are not included in the price - paid separately. Also, if you come to the end of breakfast, it is still standing, the food is not removed, for me this is a plus, you can wake up not so early. Live music is also played at dinner! The staff is very smiling and friendly! On the beach, local people often come up, offering either excursions or massages. We tried both, and the impressions are normal. It is better to take your own towels for a massage) There is nowhere to go nearby, you can go by tuk-tuk. For the sake of experiment, we even took a bus to Halle - a very beautiful place! In general, the impressions are very good! The hotel has an atmosphere of calm, natural power, a very good place. Thanks to the staff and owners of the hotel!
