We were very satisfied. Very quiet location, nice rooms, WiFi worked great. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

Everything was perfect, the owner's welcome and availability, the comfortable room, the delicious breakfast. Well placed less than 5 min walk from the beach and 10 min from the center. Not to mention the monkeys who come to visit us in the morning

Nice quiet place, very close to the beach. Sometimes monkeys in the garden. Really helpful people. Book here, let's get them enough money to finish their hotel.

Very clean room in the best location. Despite the proximity to the beach and the many restaurants nearby, the property is very quiet. Many different animals can be observed in the large garden and the host even gave us bananas to feed the wild monkeys. All of the staff are very warm and friendly and go out of their way to ensure a great stay.

Nice place to stay. It’s quit, very close to the beach (1min walk, the owner will explain you the shortcut). Rooms are big and clean. Nice mosquito net. Owner very friendly and flexible with checkin/checkout time.
2 things could be improved: Wifi terrible (you won’t be able to use it really), breakfast could be improved.

My wife and me booked for 5 days in December 2018. I usually don't write negative reviews, but the average score for this place is unfair and unrealistic. We arrived at 10 in the morning and the owner wasn't there: we needed to phone him to notify our arrival; moreover, the room wasn't arleady done. He claimed that checkin starts at 12, so we needed to wait for him. But apart from this, the real problems were: the building, the quality of the rooms and the exterior. The building was unfinished: construction works were still in progress. In the rooms there were no floor tiles! Yes, prepare to walk directly on a concrete floor. Unbealievable. The "garden" was a complete mess, with trash piles all over the place, burning and emanating a heavy smoke. A true hell. We couldn't believe this place has a 8.5 average score on one of the most famous booking sites: in our opinion this is completely unrealistic and unfair. Obviously we didn't accept the room and decided to leave immediately, but according with the policies of the same site of which above, we were charged for half the total price of the stay. Nice. Avoid, avoid and avoid!

Friendly staff, don't expect too much of the place.
