Nice place and very helpful hotel owners. Nice view from the hotel veranda. Easy to walk any place in the Fort.

My wife child and me stayed here for one day. There is nothing wrong to say, it is good. The air conditioners in the rooms and bathrooms were very good. We had breakfast from them and it was good. I can tell you that this is a good place to stay.

Best rooms to watch the sunset in the galle fort! With the constant ocean breeze to cool and roof top to relax this place was incredible to stay for an affordable pricing. The owners were super nice as well.

Great place with a panoramic view of the southern shores. Their restaurant located at the second floor provides an open seating area and the menu contains a range of dishes, all priced at reasonable rates. Staff is helpful and provides an efficient service.

Great location within easy reach of restaurants, bars shops and taxis. Room attractive and comfortable but bathroom basic and a little cramped. Friendly and very helpful service. Roof terrace in need of tlc but with pleasant view overlooking the sea, where you can see the sun going down. Breakfast is ok but limited. Overall a pleasant few days and would stay again.

Despite an online booking and being shown to our room and getting settled in, they came knocking on our door after 20 minutes saying that they had double booked and we should go. Bloody disgraceful!

While the room was decent, there were cockroaches and lizards and an ant infestation in the bathroom. It's a bit much for the price we paid. Not acceptable.

Apart from a comfortable bed the room lacked working functional items. To name a few: main door lock broken & cannot lock or take key out. AC pipe leaking water into room. Bathroom water floor trap was flooding the bathroom with used water & only one light. BREAKFAST (Local) only consists of string hoppers n dishwater gravy. Cannot comment on the continental choice. Very disappointed in total after having a good view of the Galle ramparts over to the sea.

Rampart View is a clean, cosy place that my partner and I stayed at when we were in Galle Fort. The view of the Galle from just outside our room is amazing! We loved soaking in the sun in the morning and watching the sunset at the rooftop in the evening.

You can even order food from The Blockhouse (33 Rampart St) and enjoy them while watching the sunset in the evening.

Last but not least, the staff were friendly and made our stay very comfortable. Definitely would recommend this to anyone who wants a great view with an affordable price.
