Restaurant Lucullus Garden

The staff is chic, very kind, will never offend you, delicious drinks and fish, I recommend it to everyone

We found this place on the map next to the hotel. It is not located near the road, so there are few visitors. Very hospitable owner and his wife. They offer the dish of the day and bring out fresh seafood and announce the cost to prepare it. All this comes with rice, fries, salad and garlic sauce. The portions are sufficient in size, the price is lower than in nearby hotel cafes (at least judging by the cost of beer).
If you are used to 5-star Michelin restaurants, then this is not the place for you. But if you want a tasty meal and not expensive, I recommend it!

I rarely write reviews but it was my worst food experience in Sri Lanka. I’d forgive them dirty forks and table cloth, but even mango juice was weird. Don’t trust locals recommending this restaurant as a good one.

Mediocre food for reasonable prices given the area.

Local restaurant. The place don't look good, but their home kitchen (seafood) was excellent. 5* rate from tasty meal.
