This is a great place to stay if you are in a big group.
There are two buildings now with 8-9 large, airy rooms, a lush lawn and the river at the back with balcony overlooking it. And an Asian monitor lizard which likes to sunbathe. It's very homely with a very helpful host.

Very clean, modern, excellent shower with hot water. Great host. Nice garden, beautiful location on the river bank. Good breakfast. Definitely recommend, if only you don't mind taking tuktuk to the beach (5 minutes) or have a car (like we did).

If you are not overly fascinated with the idea of staying in front of the beach, book this 3 star guesthouse in Bentota which is just 10 mins walking from the beach. Absolutely amazing rooms and service. The owner and his wife are absolute gem of a person and go out of the way to accommodate you. Great place for long vacation/work in Bentota. View from room/Balcony is amazing as its overlooking the Bentota river. Swimming pool is missing as its not a commercial hotel however the bathtub in the rooms compensate for that very well. Vey peaceful and calm ambience and you can even engage in gardening or cooking with the owner if you have leisure time. Never felt so homely in any hotel in the world.kudos to the owner for such hospitality

I had an amazing stay at the Fuji Riverside Inn. It's the perfect place to wind down and enjoy peacefulness. The room was very clean and the hotel garden has a beautiful layout with looks directly on Bentota river. Every morning the delicious breakfast is carefully arranged and served by the hotel owner or his family. The hotel owner himself is very lovely and helpful. I felt very welcome during my stay.

Very calm and Clean rooms. The hosts are so lovely and courteous. They make us a very delicous breakfast in the wonderful garden with a view over the river. With a little bit luck you will see some warans. I definitely recommend this place.

Our family occupied the entire facility and spent two full nights. All rooms were quite spacious, clean, and very well equipped. We were all completely satisfied with the services rendered by the owners Kumara and Thushari. They were very helpful in every way.

Great place near the river. The people there are very kind and helpful. I had one of the best garlic bread in there for breakfast. But you have to ask them to make garlic bread in breakfast.
Overall I feel like it's an amazing place I have been to.

Absolutely beautiful. I went with 2 of my friends on 02 - 04 Jan 2020 & all 3 of us really fell in love with this room, this Hotel & this place. Bentota has some really amazing Hotels & I guess RiverSide Fuji Inn lives upto the standard. Though the toiletries are missing. Food is ordered from a restaurant nearby.
Kumar, owner of this Hotel is a nice person & down to earth.

The rooms are nearly maintained and the location (backyard) is beautiful as it's located beach side

Had a fantastic stay here for 2 nights. Beautiful view overlooking Bentota river. Very relaxing stay with welcoming and friendly hosts who were extremely accommodative to us. They constantly aimed to make our stay a relaxing and memorable one. Highly recommended!

What can one say about perfection! Mr Kumara is the ultimate host, attentive and
professional. As a trained chef his food is delicious and beautifully presented. The whole hotel is clean, cool and welcoming with wonderful views of the Bentota River. If you want to go anywhere Mr Kumara will arrange everything from a Tuk Tuk (Saman the driver is excellent) to an airport collection taxi or a river cruise. This is the total package and nothing is too much trouble. Hassan who helps Mr Kumara is excellent and also most attentive. Thank you everyone at Riverside Inn Fuji for making our stay so wonderful, we will be back.
