Rockside Beach Resort

Decent property with access to the beach. The staff were friendly. They have all beach facing rooms so no matter which room you take you get the beach view. We paid premium price as it was around the new year. Overall a decent stay

Wow the beach view is very nice. Food was balanced and can serve people from all culture. Rooms are clean. It's very near gor the price I paid.

Talking into account the fact that our visit was during the off season for South Sri Lanka, and the country is recovering from an economic crisis, the stay was - okay. We weren't particularly happy with the service provided, but the limited staff members had the best intentions. The rooms were lacking and the restaurant food was subpar. The location is beachside, so that's good. Overall, a very mediocre place.

Beach accessible resort in Bentota. The room was clean and neat. The swimming pool was good. Food was average.

One of the worst experiences ever. No proper service and we had to get things done by ourselves. The variety of food is less compared to other hotels which was hugely disappointing. I recommend anyone to not to come here because this is one of the worst hotels that I’ve ever visited!

The best place to get away from your busy life hope to visit again. Lovely environment. Pool with the sea view Friendly staff. The view is amazing highly recommend for beach lovers.

It's a wonderful resort, having all facilities Pool, Beach, beautiful ambience Excellent services.

I stayed in this hotel on 15th Feb 2020. The property looks good from outside and in fact the location is excellent. But the rooms are not up to the mark. For double occupancy they had only one chair in the room, shower was not working properly, hot water kettle was not good, the net in the cot is not well thought because it was obstructing the air flow from van, dogs and cats were roaming around near the pool where tables are placed for dinner / food.

Most importantly the staffs are not professionals they don't know English.mostly they might have recruited from local for cutting the cost.but it has great impac on the quality of service they provide to the guest, especially the international guests. Probably this may be okay for local citizens.

However the swimming pool, landscape and Beach was really good.

Cheaters, liers.not even deserve one star.

In buffet they cheated us by asking if we want some drink and didnt mensioned us cost or said that drinks are excluded.we ordered 2 lemonade and they give us bill in the morning of Rs 1300.i mean why, they havent told us earlier in night and now this is fully cheating.
Other wise there resort stay and food was good but bill of 1300 was not at all ethical.

The place is situated In a beautiful location.the beach is private and secluded which is a plus. The pool is small and consists mostly of deeper end.
There is a nice area by the beach to hold private functions
The staff is not that well trained though, maybe should be a bit more hospitable.at times they were rude.maybe due to ignorance?
Rooms are big.bathrooms are clean.

Try and book the entire 18 rooms.then you can have the whole place to urself and request your favourite food for meals. Yey

Resort rooms, swimming pool are good. Food is good. Restaurant closes by 8pm itself. They have arranged us South Indian style breakfast.

Value for money. Very hospitable. Good service and clean rooms. Easily accessible to the beach. Quick response to needs. Wonderful and peaceful ambience.

Worth every rupee you pay for it. The staff is friendly and the beach is not even a minute's walk away from the hotel.

Stay was quite comfortable.a neat pool & access to beach were the high points. However the food was average & the tea we ordered by mistake was pathetic!
