Very friendly hosts and excellent food!
We stayed a couple of days at Sankarest, a nice little hotel in Kosgoda at Sri Lankas West coast under Swiss lead. Sankarest has a few cozy rooms and lots of spaces to chill, a wonderful tropical garden (including a pool) and two cute dogs. The beach is just a few minutes by walking. Besides getting the very best food we ever had in Sri Lanka, we had several times the opportunity to come to the kitchen, watch the preparations of the food, take pictures and notes. For excursions, Sankarest has its own Tuctuc. All the staff here is fluent in english (and Conny of course in german as well), and they are very eager to make your wishes come true. We really enjoyed our stay here and are willing to come back again. Conny, Sunnitha and Sanka, thank you very much for this wonderful time.
